Akron Watson, an “American Idol” contestant from Dallas has been disinvited from the Hollywood round of the show, possibly after producers discovered a pot bust on his record.Watson, whose San Antonio audition aired on last night’s “Idol,” was arrested in April 2003 for misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
He was headed to Hollywood after impressing the judges with his singing, and his story. But Watson tells Pegasus News that two days before he was scheduled to leave for Hollywood, he received a call saying that he would not be competing anymore “for unknown reasons.” “Idol” producers did not comment on their withdrawn invitation.
Meanwhile, another contestant from San Antonio, Ashlyn Carr, was reportedly arrested in August for pouring sugar into the gas tank of her ex-boyfriend’s car while a student at Sam Houston State University, according to a report in The Houstonian Online.
When confronted by police, says the Houstonian, Carr confessed to the crime.
Hawt!!! Arrested for pouring sugar in your ex’s gas tank. If you’re gonna be arrested for something it might as well be somethin good, ya know?
Not like I’d ever do that!!!! Come on. I’d go after his new bitch instead.

Adrianne Curry, who was the Season One winner of “America’s Next Top Model,” has lambasted the show and Revlon, claiming that she “has yet to see a dime from Revlon” for her work.
“We were told the winner would be an instant millionaire, that our faces would be plastered everywhere in Revlon ads. None of which turned out to be true … I still haven’t got paid for the work I did for them!” steamed Curry.
Miss Curry is super mad at the supermodel show, blasting them on her MySpace blog, saying “… they had no money … no clue what they were doing … all they had was mind f***ing us for good tv [sic].”
Adrianne also claims that the girls hardly slept during filming, were kept hungry for long periods and were crammed into small quarters to guarantee drama. The Revlon campaign “turned out to be only a day’s work at a convention.”
Adrianne, who married “Brady Bunch” babe Christopher Knight last May, added that “Top Model felt like I was on a fierce ‘Survivor!’”
A rep for “Top Model” had no comment.
Adrianne is gorgeous and I think she had a real chance at becoming a huge model, but she’s had to sell out on VH1 with her baby faced Brady hubby.
Who woulda thought Top Model was this shady?! Tyra always brags about being cheap, but Revlon better fix this, like yesterday. I may boycott their makeup that I don’t purchase or use, now that’s a threat.

According to the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Pilgrim Films and Television (PFTV) met with Abdul and David Russo (her producing partner) in 2004 and discussed a talk show featuring Abdul.
According to the suit, after some false starts, the concept
evolved into a reality show titled “Hey Paula,” based on Abdul’s wacky life.
The lawsuit alleges that the project fell apart after Abdul demanded final editorial control over the final product.
PFTV claims Abdul allegedly came clean and told the peeps at PFTV that “she had secretly taken PFTV’s ‘Hey Paula’ project … to Bravo.”
The suit asks for an injunction prohibiting anyone from airing “Hey Paula.”
Paula told TMZ, “While I’m not going to respond to this baseless lawsuit, I will say that “Hey Paula” is based upon my life and my ideas. Last I heard, I still own my own life.”

Insiders tell In Touch exclusively that the mother of two has been living a secret life long before her marriage ended.
Rap music producer Omar “Iceman” Sharif, who is a friend of Kevin’s, tells In Touch, “Britney was into threesomes and girls.” He says Britney would often invite a bunch of girlfriends over to the couple’s house to party.
Britney would often disappear into a bedroom with her girlfriends. “Sometimes it was three girls, and sometimes there were more like six,” the insider says. “I heard about her being with girls at least 20 times while they were married.”
A friend says that Kevin plans to use tales of Britney’s secret exploits and drugs in his battle for custody of their sons.
“She has told Kevin more than once that she is attracted to women and men equally,” says the pal. “He wants to show that she’s not such an angel after all.”

Nicole Richie has told Parisite Hilton she’s real scared she’ll go to jail for her DUI.
Bones was at Mr. Chow’s where Parisite was seen comforting her.
A source told Life and Style Weekly magazine: “She was really freaking out. Paris kept telling Nicole not to worry, that everything was going to be fine.”
The adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie was charged with DUI after police arrested her in the early hours of December 11 for driving the wrong way along a California freeway.
Nicole, 25, confessed to officers she had taken the strong painkiller Vicodin and had smoked marijuana.
Bones had a previous DUI charge in ‘02 and California law states that a repeat offense carries the mandatory jail sentence of five days.
