It looks like Britney Spears' fans are no longer too keen on smelling like her.
Sales of Spears' fragrances have â" not surprisingly â" taken a hit recently.Spears' first perfume was a top-seller when it was introduced in 2004 and her scents were her primary source of income for the last few years, according to OK!, which reports that sales over the holiday were "weak" and that there is concern about future sales.
Although Spears was estimated to be worth $123 million in 2002, a former employee of the singer tells the mag that the star has been "burning through money," as she has not put out a new album, toured or nabbed new endorsement deals in years.
If her fragrance sales are dropping, is that an indicator that her record's gonna flop too? I really don't even know if she should try anymore. Whatcha think?

Florida Circuit Court Judge Larry Seidlin ruled Thursday that Richard Milstein, the court-appointed guardian of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter Dannielynn, will get custody of Smith's remains.Judge Seidlin also said that he'd like Smith to be buried in the Bahamas next to her son, Daniel Smith, who died last year.
"I want her buried with her son," a tearful Seidlin said when announcing his ruling. "I want her buried with her son in the Bahamas. I want them to be together."
After the hearing ended, Milstein announced that Smith would indeed be buried in the Bahamas.
The judge directed Milstein to consult with Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead and her lawyer and companion, Howard K. Stern, on the burial plans for Smith.
When Seidlin announced the ruling both Stern and Arthur broke down in tears.
Prior to adjourning the court, Seidlin explained, "(I) tried to get a reasonable result. I hope when you hear it you handle it with the respect and dignity that Anna Nicole Smith would want."
Seidlin also encouraged all the participants to resolve the ongoing paternity battle. "Submit to DNA (testing)," he urged. "Enough baloney."
Prince Harry will be deployed to Iraq, Britain's Ministry of Defense has confirmed.The announcement that his regiment, the Blues and Royals, will serve in Iraq comes just a day after Prime Minister Tony Blair told parliament that Britain would start reducing its military presence in the country.
Harry, 22, is third in line to the throne and the first senior royal to serve in a combat zone since his uncle Prince Andrew flew helicopters in the Falklands War in 1982
.Britain's Defense Secretary is expected to give more details on the deployment in a statement to parliament later today.
Prince Harry â" who is known to colleagues as Troop Commander Wales â" joined the army in 2005. He graduated from Sandhurst Military Academy in April and qualified as an armored reconnaissance officer in October.
He has made no secret of his desire to go to war. In an interview to mark his 21st birthday in 2005, he said, "There's no way I'm going to put myself through Sandhurst and then sit on my arse back home while my boys are out fighting for their country."
Security issues for the prince and his colleagues have been a major concern for military and royal officials.
"He would probably be protected by an eight-member SAS team working in teams of four in 12-hour shifts. They won't let him out of their sight. They will be eating, sleeping and fighting alongside him. They will become his best new pals."

TMZ has confirmed Britney Spears is back in rehab.
We're told the singer is hoping three times is a charm. The emergency custody hearing that Kevin Federline wanted has been cancelled because of the new development. There will be no custody hearing today.
Federline is concerned for Spears' welfare and wants her to get the help she is now seeking.
We're also told this will be Spears' last chance -- if she leaves rehab before getting full treatment, Federline will immediately go to court seeking orders allowing him unquestioned full custody of the children.
We're told Spears showed up at Federline's house to see the children last night and he wouldn't let her in.
Sources say the kids are now in the custody of Federline, and have been since last week.
Spears' inpatient rehab program is supposed to last between 30 and 45 days.
Kevin Federline may actually care about Britney?!
And if she checks out of rehab again, there's a good chance I will never mention her again.

An employee at the Beverly Hills kids boutique Bellini told the New York Daily News that Aguilera and her husband of more than a year, Jordan Bratman, went on a $3,000 shopping spree at the store on Saturday where she confided that she's having a baby."They seemed really excited," a worker at the boutique told the Daily News.
"She was talking to [another customer] and she said she took a home pregnancy test and that it was positive. She kept saying they'd have to come back when they knew the sex of the baby."
However, Xtina's rep says that the employee needs to get her eyes checked because the singer was 50,000 feet in the air at the time of the supposed sighting.
"She was not at Bellini. She was on a plane to Las Vegas for the NBA appearance."
