In an interview with Newsweek magazine, Heath Ledger once again dodged questions about whether he and his baby mama Michelle Williams tied the knot, but his responses lean towards a positive. An excerpt:

Are the reports true that you and Michelle Williams got married?
"We try not to talk about it, to keep it our own kind of thing. It's obviously very sacred. People write stories regardless. The stories haven't necessarily been bad. So we're letting people run with their assumptions."

It's not like people won't eventually find out.
"
That's right."

And yet, how will we ever know for sure if you never say anything?
"They take photos of us wearing our wedding rings."

I've seen those photos. So I take it that you are married.
"You can write whatever you wish."

Why don't you just make the announcement now and get it over with?
"We're not ones to announce."

I find all their secrecy very childish and counterproductive.

Very good points Jamie! Heath's gonna leave Michelle.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. If you don't "announce" when you're married, you don't have to announce when you're divorced. Works out for him.

I too find their attitude extremely childish. I'm sure Michelle would love people to know if she was married to Heath (wasn't that her plan when she got preggers in the first place within 7 months of dating the guy?) so I assume it is Heath who has the problem. I suppose he isn't that into her and is just with her because of the baby. I hope they are married so she can take him to the cleaners when they divorce - imagine his stupid face then? And I also hope he dumps her for another blonde costar, as he tends to do - imagine her stupid face?

They think they are important and 'arty' and are sooooo presumptous. They should get over themselves.
