Desperate Housewives Losing Viewers

wives-1.JPG

I don’t really watch it anymore myself. I thought it started getting crappy about half way thru the 2nd season. Sounds like the Wisteria Lane hos need to work it a little more.

Desperate Housewives” on Sunday fell to its lowest viewership and adults 18-49 ratings in the show’s three-year history, allowing CBS to win the night in viewership while retaining the demo crown. Housewives” averaged 15.7 million viewers and a 6.0 rating/15 share in adults 18-49, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. That’s down 23% from its original average of 7.8/17 so far this season.

It was the first original broadcast of the ABC dramedy since March 4. It did increase from 15.3 million viewers at 9 p.m. to 16 million at 9:30 p.m. It still was tops in viewership and 18-49 in the hour and the night, easily winning against CBS’ “Cold Case” (11.5 million, 2.8/7) and NBC’s “Deal or No Deal” (10 million, 2.8/7).

    That’s weird.

The 2nd season was trash, but the past few episodes have been really good. =(

I haven’t been watching DH because it’s on the same time as the Apprentice, and I guess I’m one of the 4 people still watching THAT show.

Oh, my bad, no it’s not! The Apprentice USED to be in the same time slot a few weeks ago before they changed it. But at any rate, that’s when I stopped watching DH.
