I am a young person so I think I should have a large say so in this discussion. Mistakes she made
1. Going to an 18 and over party
2. Dressing over 18
3. Agreeing to go on stage
I'm not fully on AKon's side. I really never completely even liked his music that much, but i feel as though the major problem was this young girl. This girl probably snuck out the house put on this outfit over a friends house or maybe outside the concert! Father probably MOST LIKELY didnt know. And out of any concerts an AKON concert. concerts cost money. PEOPLE when you pay your hard earned money for something don't you think you should know the history of it. Before I even took a look at the video i youtubed ALL AKON CONCERT'S. Most of the other concerts were kept pg 13. But others that were FOR ADULTS were vulgour. Dont think I spelled that right. Anywho. What my point is, she knew where she was going and knew what she wanted to do by wearing an outfit like that to an overage party. Im 15 and I am extremely embarred to have a girl who asks like this to be so unintelligent! Totally mental or rejection feelings she must have had. Even if she just wanted to see him and didnt even exspect to possibly get asked on stage the thought of not only the person your coming to see getting in offical trouble but the shame you also share of being a preachers daughter. I dont completely blame akon another reason because it has been said that he did require every1 to be 18 and over. SHE WASNT. ima say it again SHE wasnt. I'm so tired of so many adults saying oh this poor girl, this poor girl. NO. Stop babying her. Every1 has a flip side and unless you see both then you should have NO SAY SO. If This girl is grown enough to sneek into a party then she is grown enough to be hit with the down right truth of her disgust. Also before watching the video I also you tubed dancing done in jamaica/trindad/ Dancehall and compared to what he did, that was NOTHING. Go see for yourself. Besides the point. Then I watched the video and before I even saw it I sumed up how it was gonna look. A fast little girl danceing inapproaitely or acting inapprioately. HEY!!!I was right:) I respect Akon for after finding out apoliging for something he didn't even know could happen. He did it for the girls comfort and for his image. Of course now he knows what she must be going through but even knows what he will go through because of it. AKON ACTED A FOOL on stage. YES. But it's been done so much through out were he came from. I totally agree with the man who said if it was a grown women with akon people wouldnt cared as much, THAT is because they've seen it b4. I wonder how when and how her father found out about it.
