That's disgusting no matter how old the girl is. Is that what being an artist is about these days? I am disgusted from that video and I am a man. Why do people enjoy seeing that on stage, I'm out raged. Stop blamming the artist? Akon totally went over board on the whole thing and he should get in trouble. I would be Embarrassed if I was him, and I bet Gwen is pretty ticked. I'm totally sick to my stomach with the way people portray themselves these days... the lyrics people sing, and the way people represent themselves and others... this makes me sick to my stomach, what is the world coming to?

Ok, neeky you have a point but that still doesn't mean he can go around doing that to random woman, regardless of if he knew her age or not. I think chaapanda was the most accurate here and I agree with her. How do you know she was just fakeing it and pretending to enjoy it and maybe deep down she wanted him to stop. Maybe she was too overwhelmed to say anything.

I understand that akon is retared but the girl should have had her ass at home and not in a 18 year old or older club. People should not come down so hard on the hip hop industry how ever. Has any one seen white girls gone wild with the soccer mom encouraging her daughter to show off her new boobs. Slut

People, Stop blaming the artist for these women. Women need to respect them selves no one can do it for them. Stop blaming these guys, stop saying they take advantage of wormen. Point blank if your old enough to know better it falls on you. These artist will do only as much as we allow them. And futher more they are trying to put on a show for their audience, which means they will do what they have to do.

First of all let me start by saying that I'm not going to set here and down a precher for being upset about his daughter. But what he has to understand is that his daughter is no victum. She knew what she was doing . She had every opportunity to say stop and she didn't. Akon was puting on a show for his fans that's all. He didn't take her to a room, He didn't undress her, but let's be real how was he to know how old she was. The club shouldn't have let her in the club in the first place. Put the blame where it belongs.

Pastor Alleyne and his wife are typical overbearing religous parents who overpreach the Bible to their children. So their children rebel by becoming exactly what the church condemns. Their daughter probably has snuck into clubs in the past and was caught this time on tape with Akon performing pornigraphic acts on stage.
As for Akon and other individuals, I think they take advantage of those who are weak enough to let them. Women need to stand up against the music industry and say enough is enough. As Maya Angelou said "Vulgarity is vulgarity."

Wow. I was really shocked with this, but then again, I wasn't. A lot of guys in the rap industry degrade women and do lude things to them. It's really sickening. The girl could have looked like she was laughing and maybe she was, but have you ever wondered if that laughter might have been fake? That girl probably didn't want to seem like a coward infront of all of those people. Think of how embarassing for her it would have been if she would have bursted into full fledged tears, letting her true emotions show. As for the Father, I'm sure he didn't even know that she was wearing such clothing. A LOT of teenagers leave the house dressed in normal looking t-shirts and jeans, but when they get out with their friends, blam, they pull a different outfit from their bag and throw it on. I know a lot of girls that do those things. What happened was probably this, all the girl wanted to do was probably try to fit in with everyone else, but she got more than she bargained for. Akon should be sued

The only reason everybody so upset it is because they now know the girl is a 14-yr-old.
If it had been an adult no one would have been so concerned.
Who yuh think has lost respect ... the girl or Akon ???
