Reese Tells Jake To Date Other People

reese-and-jake.jpg

In Touch reports, the Legally Blonde star has a case of cold feet since their relationship became public recently. "Reese was more comfortable dating Jake when no one else knew about it," says a friend of Reese. "Now there seems to be a little too much scrutiny and she's uncomfortable."

An insider told that Reese's Rendition costar Gyllenhaal was disappointed with her decision, "he really likes Reese and wants to get closer." Recently single, Reese reportedly turned down Gyllenhaal's invitation to spend few days with him at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara.

"She wants to take things slowly," told a pal. "She even told Jake to date other people until she's ready to commit."

Reese, 31, split with husband Ryan Phillippe last October after seven years of marriage.

Let The Rosie O'Donnell Replacement Rumors Begin

Roseanne Barr is being touted as the leading loudmouth to replace Rosie O'Donnell on "The View," according to sources this morning.

With Rosie on her way out in just a couple months, the brassy Barr has emerged as the candidate to beat, says the New York Post, though Joan Rivers, Whoopi Goldberg, Kathie Lee Gifford, and Connie Chung are also in the running.

With Rosie leaving, says an ABC source, "they're missing strong personalities, and that's what they're going to need if they want to keep it going."

Roseanne or Whoppi would be perfect. I would watch "The View" again. They would be so much better!

American Idol's Jessica Sierra Arrest

american-idol-arrest.jpg

Former American Idol contestant Jessica Sierra was arrested on drug possession and felony battery charges early Sunday in Tampa, Fla.

Sierra, 21, allegedly hit a man over the head with a heavy glass at a café and was booked at the Hillsborough County Jail on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, the Associated Press reports.

She was also charged with possession of cocaine and introduction of contraband into a correctional facility after officers found a small amount of the drug while searching her, a police spokeswoman told the AP.

The victim of the alleged battery suffered a cut over his eye, but no further details were available. Sierra was released Sunday afternoon on $11,500 bail.

Sierra, a Tampa native, was a finalist on the FOX talent show in 2005 and the first of the Top 10 to be ousted following a disappointing rendition of LeAnn Rimes's "On the Side of Angels."

Last year a 59-year-old California man was charged with stalking her after police said he left voicemail messages telling her he loved her and was willing to go to jail for her and sent her jewelry and dozens of long-stemmed roses after seeing her on Idol.

He was arrested at her grandparents' home after he flew from California to Tampa and called Sierra's cellphone twice asking her to pick him up.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Is Being Sued For $350,000

jennifer-ghost-whisperer.jpg

Jennifer Love Hewitt is being sued by her former management company cuz she didn't break them off for hookin' her washed up ass with a seven-year deal for "The Ghost Whisperer."

In court docs, Handprint Management alleges that J-Love breached her contract, and claims her career had been stalled prior to landing a role on the hit series.

They say their work brought her "back to national prominence as a television star."

Jennifer cut ties with Handprint in March 2005, but the lawsuit claims that her big deal for "Ghost" was struck on their watch. Handprint also says Hewitt paid them in full for the first season of her hit show, but refused to pay for season two.

The suit is seeking a minimum of $350,000 in damages.

Rosie O'Donnell Turned Down $10 Million To Stay On "The View"!

rosie-the-view.jpg

Rosie O'Donnell was offered some big bucks to continue on The View.

FoxNews.com reported that ABC had insisted on a three-year deal or nothing and Rosie was only willing to do another year because she wanted an opportunity to leave in case a serious disagreement came up with Barbara Walters.

The report said that ABC was willing to pay Rosie $10 million for each of the three years, but apparently they couldn't meet an agreement.

This may sound mad crazy to you, but this round bitch has got some stuff up her sleeve. Rosie isn't that dumb! I'm thinking Rosie may get her own show, wind up on Broadway, star in the Nip/Tuck spinoff peeps have been talking about, or begin appearing in Proactiv commercials.

Anna Nicole's Mom Virgie Arthur Ordered To Pay Up

Virgie Arthur appealed the judges decision to allow Larry Birkhead to take Dannielynn back home to the states until the next hearing on June 8th. But not only did the court deny her appeal today, but she also has to pay $3,000 for a "Waste of Courts Time"

One judge called Arthur's appeal "weak," and ordered her to pay $3,000 in attorney's fees for wasting the court's time.

At one point he said, "I am perplexed why this matter is before us."

The judge also said at another point to Virgie's attorney, Miss Rose, "You must descend from theory to reality Miss Rose…."

Potts observed, "It's as if Virgie lost every round of a fight… and the judges were so disgusted with what they called a ‘weak' appeal… and wasting their time… they made her pay $3,000 dollars for their 48 minutes of court time. So it cost Virgie $62.50 per MINUTE… or more than $3,600.00 an hour."
