Police officers moved quickly to take down a man who allegedly threatened to kill pop star and actress Hilary Duff during her appearance on a Canadian TV show.

Duff was being interviewed Tuesday by MuchMusic host Leah Miller on Live @ Much when a man in the crowd outside the studio started shouting at the 19-year-old star. According to an eyewitness, the unidentified man vowed to kill Duff, prompting several police officers to tackle him.

"The cops slammed his face into the pavement," said someone who saw the incident. "He was bleeding."

The commotion happened just metres from an outdoor platform where Duff later stood to greet fans who surged forward for autographs and pictures.

Last November, police in Manhattan Beach, California, arrested 18-year-old Maksim Miskovsky for stalking and threatening to kill Duff.  A month earlier, Duff and her then-boyfriend Joel Madden  filed for restraining orders against Myakovsky and his 50-year-old roommate David Joseph Klein.

Myakovsky pleaded no contest to the charges in January and was sentenced to 117 days in jail and five years probation.

Dear Myspace,

How are things with you? I'm guessing "not so good" because you never really seem to work right. It seems like every day as soon as I've finished typing up a 14,000 word Myspace message and hit "send" I always seem to get the "sorry! an unexpected error has occurred.

This error has been forwarded to Myspace's technical group" message. Yeah, thanks Myspace, that's helpful. Is it really that unexpected? This happens 6 times a day.

Who are these tech people and what are they doing with my message? Can they just resend it for me or must I retype the same message 15 more times?

And what type of information does this one particular error message contain that is so different then the other 18,000 error messages their "tech group" receives? What is this tech group like? And why can't they fix this error by now?

Also, do the Myspace spammers think I'm stupid? NO, I DON'T want to hear about your latest ringtones. And not for one second will I be tricked by this message even though it came from one of my friends.

My friends don't care about ringtones and certainly wouldn't send me a message about one. At the same time, I'm not getting tricked by the Myspace email or comment message that talks about "girls say that size does matter."

Who are the people who are falling for these scams? I say the people who are tricked by these messages and actually click on those links should be kicked off of Myspace. I'd give them the electric chair if possible.

So in conclusion, Myspace, get your stuff together. For a website that is worth like $100 million, you run worse than my Apple IIc and that includes the time that Oregon Trail got stuck inside the disk drive and wouldn't work anymore.

The Prime Minister of Trinidad has called for an investigation into the "dirty dancing" controversy involving Akon and a 14-year-old girl. The investigators are starting with the club who some blame for allowing the young girl to party.

The victim in the video, Deena Alleyne, whose father is a pastor recently told the local press:

"This whole hip hop thing is a guise and I don't want any part of it, I don't want to be any part of it. I thought it was going to be normal."

"I got carried away, I started to dance as well but I never thought it was going to be like that. I was shocked, my head was hitting the floor."

Carrie's been denying their romance, but the lips don't lie!

Carrie Underwood helps Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo ring in a memorable birthday celebration Saturday at Ghostbar in Dallas.An insider says the Idol champ and Romo were "laughing, singing together, holding hands and their arms were around each other all night."

So are they a couple? "They have recently been spending a little time together," Underwood's rep tells People, adding, "It's [in the] really early stages."

TMZ is reporting that Rosie O'Donnell will announce that she's leaving "The View" on today's live broadcast.

ABC/ and "The View" staff are currently already searching for her replacement.

So what the eff am I supposed to listen to now while I update POTP?! I'd always have The View on so I could listen to the crap Rosie would spew whenever she'd open her pie hole which was basically the entire show. She loves hearing her voice.

Rosie is such a liability tho. Honestly, this bitch better not host any other show again EVER! I'm sadness!

Hey Everyone....i know this is going to come as a huge surprise, but yes my account was indeed hacked last night....i cant IMAGINE who would do such a thing?????
i just didnt see that one coming...comedy.

i can only imagine how exhausting dancing on tables, flashing your vagina and hacking into others accounts can be.

I'm pretty sure thats how this mess got started in the first place. on that note, im over it and moving on.

please know i will have everything back to normal shortly and i really appreciate all your posts and support!!
