Britney Spears will appear on the cover of September's Allure magazine, but Editor in Chief Linda Wells says the oft belly-baring singer has missed several opportunities to sit down with them for the accompanying interview.

"I thought we could present the profile as her comeback," Linda writes in the magazine's opening letter from the editor. "Britney showed up for Allure's cover shoot on time and ready to work. She was entirely unself-conscious: She took off her wig and then stripped down to the waist, for no apparent reason, before sitting for hair and makeup."

Linda adds that Britney was "agreeable and cooperative," but "that was the last we saw of her ... she missed four appointments for an interview." She goes on to say that "Britney has long lost her role-model status ... Spears still commands our attention, perhaps even more so now than before her life imploded."

Hahaha! I ain't mad at ya. I love how Britney plays these magazines like a 50 Cent song. She doesn't give a shit! No matter how bald, fugly and unsanitary she gets, big magazines will put her on the cover whether she gives them an interview or not.

I'm guessing Allure won't go the same bitter route that OK! did, mentioning how Britney is such a mess just because she wiped her greasy hands on their expensive dress. Brit's worth $100 million and she dresses like trash, why would OK! expect anything less from her? Some $6,000+ dress is worth like 4 pairs of her heels. And yep, I will post Britney's Allure pics. I'm guessing they'll photoshop her to death.
