New mom Jaime Pressly owes her post-baby weight loss to a diet program doctors use to get patients prepared for surgery. The Emmy Award-winning actress admits she started getting back into shape 10 days after baby Dezzi James was born in May, and she used the Cabbage Soup Detox Diet twice to help her shed the pounds and tone up.

Pressly says, “I got back into the gym and worked out two hours a day, five days a week, and I did the Cabbage Soup diet. It helps cut the fat and it’s also something that doctors give patients who are waiting to go into surgery - to detox their body. So it’s a really great, healthy diet.”

I’ve thought about doing the cabbage soup diet before, but I’ve got enough fart issues as it is. If I tried this diet the governor would have to call a state of emergency for the green gas cloud that would be lingering over my house. It would make for a great fart football game though! Man I could hold an entire tournament series in one day if I did the cabbage soup diet! I’ve gotta find the recipe now.

    cabbage soup is the best.. my mom makes it like around fall and winter and its really good…its good 4 u cuz it has all types of veggies in it :) and thats it is…it fills u up too
