Over 1,000 San Diego homes have been destroyed by the California fires. Although the fires stretch over 150 miles, from Malibu to San Diego, San Diego has been hit the hardest. Larry has put a face behind the statistics. Some progress has been made today, but fires such as the witch fire has merged with another fire, headed towards Julian. That fire has only 1% containment and has already burned 200,000 acres.
