Britney and Kevin's lawyers met up in court today to talk about Brit missing 8 of 14 drug tests that she was suppose to take. The whole big deal seems to be over not being able to reach Britney in a timely fashion to take the tests.
Kaplan told Court Commissioner Scott Gordon, "We have been in court on this exact issue at least three times."
Spears' attorney Anne Kiley shot back, calling the tests "unconstitutional."Since October 5 there have been 10 negative drug tests," she said, adding, "the idea that she needs to respond within the hour is meaningless.
"Is the issue that Britney Spears needs to get up at 8:30 a.m. and answer the phone?" she went on."She's a pop star with a No. 1 album. She is not up that early."[Spears' album was actually No. 2 on Billboard's Top 200.]
Gordon fired back: "She needs to take responsibility. The issue is to see if she can follow a court order.
"Since we started this, there have been lost phones, changed numbers, voicemails being left on someone else's voice mail....
"Maybe we should set up a fixed appointment for her to be tested," he said. "The point is we cannot continue to do these weekly ex-parte motions."
A source tells Usmagazine.com "the hour that they test [Spears] is very important. If she's out partying the night before, that would be reflected. That's why it's an important issue to Kevin and his attorney."
O.k. did her attorney seriously say she can't get up that early because she's a pop star? Time to hire a new lawyer. That's just beyond ridiculous to pull that card.

They are one to see the glass half empty instead of half full...at least she went for over half of them. I mean give the girl a break. She is a pop star after all. She can only handle so much!!

IT IS SOOOOO EASY TO PASS A PISS TEST!!!!! I DO IT ALL THE TIME!!!!! They're called system cleaners, 20 bucks a pop, sold at your local "smoke shops" where you can buy "tobacco" pipes and bongs lol. With as little as one hour notice, you can take a cleaner and piss clean for the next couple hours. I bet a million dollars that's how she passed some and was "unreachable" for the other ones. Last time I checked, the legal system doesn't care of your a pop star. Do what you gotta do, and when you don't, suffer the consequences. Boo hoo, shell never get her kids back
