PETA is starting a new campaign against the Olsen twins for wearing fur and also using it in their clothing line. I'm surprised they weren't praising Mary-Kate during her eating disorder days for NOT eating meat, or food in general.

PETA is furious they've "ignored pleas to stop wearing fur and using it in their fashion collection." The group is unveiling a campaign against the "fur fiends" - Mary-Kate ("Hairy Kate,") and Ashley ("Trashley") - with a tag line: "Fur Is Worn by Beautiful Animals and Ugly People." The Trollsen Twins poster will be unveiled today at their Walk of Fame star in LA.

The Olsens wouldn't be so ugly if they just brushed their hair every now and then and quit dressing like hobos. I can't wait to see the Trollsen Twins poster!

Rumors have been going around about Queen Latifah having a relationship with her personal trainer and the two of them possibly getting married. During an interview promoting the movie "The Perfect Holiday", Queen quickly shot down the marriage rumors.

''When you're famous these days, it's just part of the deal -- unfortunately. People will make up all sorts of things that are not true. . . . There ain't gonna be no wedding.''

The heiress was among those at Cameo nightclub in Miami early Saturday morning at an event sponsored by Ariva smokeless tobacco, featuring a performance of Jeff Beacher's Madhouse with three Oompa-Loompa characters in orange makeup and green hair. Suddenly, people rushed the stage, injuring Oompa-Loompa performer Robin Sherwood, whose leg was badly cut. Hilton, coincidentally, is friends with Sherwood and had visited him earlier in the day during rehearsals.

"I was with Paris," says lawyer Mike Heller of Talent Resources, who booked the event. "Paris stayed back at the event when she heard that he was injured, to make sure he was okay. She was very concerned with his health. She didn't leave until she knew that he was okay." A Cameo source adds: "Yes, Paris Hilton stayed with him until an ambulance came to take care of him. ... Paris was great, she was there until he was turned over to the medical technicians."

We really have a Paris Hilton feel good story? How sweet of her to hang with him and give him a quick hand job while he waited for the ambulance to arrive. Now she's going to be loved by Oompa Loompas all over the world and probably invited to the next Oompa Convention!

Ashanti's sister, Kenashia (aka "Shi Shi") was showing off her thickness at a party recently, and I'm not diggin' the get-up she's wearing. I'm all about women having a strong self confidence no matter what size they are, but you gotta have some clothing sense too. It's probably one of Ashanti's dresses that her little sis thought she could pull  off too.

An MTV insider tells us that America's favorite couple, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, have come to their collective senses and called off their impending nuptials (which were never going to happen anyway) ... for now. As for their relationship, they're still together ... for now. At least until season four!

Researchers have discovered a gene involved in homosexual behavior in the tiny flies.

They also found a way to turn homosexuality on and off with drugs. Humans have a similar gene. But it's unclear what effect, if any, the gene has on homosexual behavior in people, said biologist David Featherstone of the University of Illinois at Chicago.

After a century of study on fruit flies, researchers have accumulated a vast storehouse of genetic knowledge. UIC researchers were using fruit flies to study muscular dystrophy when they discovered a gene they call "gender blind," or GB.

Flies with a mutated form of the GB gene are bisexual. It appears they're unable to distinguish chemical smells, called pheromones, that tell whether other flies are male or female. "The GB mutant males treated other males exactly the same way normal male flies would treat a female," Featherstone said. "They even attempted copulation."

The GB mutation appears to strengthen nerve cell junctions called synapses. This causes flies to over-react to pheromones. As a result, they "broaden their horizons and go for both males and females," Featherstone said.

R&B hottie Rihanna has disappointed fans in the U.K. after canceling three forthcoming gigs on her European tour. The singer was ordered by doctors to withdraw from performing commitments in England, including concerts in Nottingham on Saturday, Birmingham on Monday and Bournemouth on Tuesday. A statement issued by Birmingham's NEC insists Rihanna "appreciates the love and support of all her fans and wants nothing more than to see and connect with them".A spokesperson for the star was unavailable for comment. It is unclear when the postponed gigs will be rescheduled.

What the hell does she have that forced her to cancel three shows? They don't even tell us! Does she have mud-butt? Back ache? Chicken pox? Yeast infection? Bird flu?
