Get Ready For Oprah TV

Oprah's getting closer to world domination by getting her OWN T.V. network. No seriously it's called OWN, The Oprah Winfrey Network, and nothing says I'm obsessed with myself more than naming your t.v. channel after yourself. The channel which is jointly owned by Oprah's Harpo Productions and Discovery, will debut in 2009. By 2010 50 million housewives will be OWNed by Oprah 24/7. Haha, I'm trying to be funny and I'm so not!

"Fifteen years ago, I wrote in my journal that one day I would create a television network, as I always felt my show was just the beginning of what the future could hold," Winfrey, 53, said in a statement. "For me, the launch of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Network' is the evolution of the work I've been doing on television all these years and a natural extension of my show."
