It's important to give people a piece of home and to boost morale. Everybody out here is risking everything, giving us one of the biggest gifts they can. I want to be out here to support them. It's nice to give them a smile in the middle of the day. If they are missing home, feeling down or worried, hopefully being here will get their minds off of things.
Scarlett is on a five-day United Service Organizations (USO) tour to the Gulf region. Luv her! :)

That is very awesome of her. As I recall, she isn't a supporter of the war but for her to go out there and show our troops her support of them regardless of her opinion on the war makes her a class act.
My husband spent a year out there and is due for another year plus before too long. I've heard how it is for them day to day out there first hand. I know celebrities doing USO tours out there is very much appreciated.

I love Scarlett Jo TOO!! Good for her! Now only if I can participate in a USO tour. I am sure I could make many of those boys happy...The best part is the military's mantra " don't tell" policy!! Shit, I will even pay for my own ticket!!!
