The Spears family is finally trying to jump in and save Britney before it's too late. Momma Lynne Spears showed up to Britney's yesterday along with her father Jamie to try to talk Britney into getting some kind of treatment. Maybe they should work on talking her into a shower first.

Brit's mom, Lynne, her dad, Jamie, cousin Alli, as well as Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib all showed up at Britney's house and were all there at the same time. Brit's mom and dad (and others) have known for months that a bipolar disorder -- and not substance abuse -- is at the root of her problems. They cannot involuntarily commit her (impossible under these circumstances) and Brit has refused to voluntarily enter a hospital or even undergo evaluation for the problem. But now the plan is underway.

Here's what's significant: Britney has not spoken to her mom for a while -- no contact at all. Last night, Britney and Lynne (along with Sam) left the house at one point and went to the drugstore, so it seems they are now interacting. There were signs last night that Britney didn't feel as warm toward her dad, that she didn't want anything to do with him. This move has been in the planning stages for well over a month. It should begin to unfold IF Britney cooperates, and that is the wild card.

Drew Barrymore and boyfriend Justin Long share plenty of laughs �" and kisses! �" on the red carpet as they head into the Los Angeles premiere of Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show Monday at the Egyptian Theatre.

Long stars in the documentary, which features comedians, hand picked by Vaughn to perform around the country.

Hip-hop star Kanye West surprised a crowd at One Step Beyond in New York last week when he jumped onstage to join Kid Sister for a short set, presented by Flavorpill.com.

"The rapper joined his fellow Chicago, Illinois star for a performance of her song Pro Nails in the Rose Center for Earth and Space on Friday. And West also treated the crowds to his own solo set, wowing fans with renditions of his singles Stronger and Good Life.

How can you not love Kanye West when he does things like this? He can get as anal as he wants about not winning awards as long as he keeps doing the good deeds. Me love you long time, Kanye... And you deserve more awards!

The Spears women make really good mothers, don't they? Jamie has been partying like crazy. Poor thing must be in denial.

"She's been going out with her friends recently and staying out late. Her mom and dad are both worried that Jamie's late-night partying isn't good for her or her child.

"Jamie Lynn continues to break every rule Lynne makes,and there are no consequences. Everything in Jamie Lynn's life is causing stress right now. She's worried about her career, her relationship with Casey (the baby's father) and being a mom at 16."

Even if Jamie Lynn Spears gives her baby to her mother to raise, as was reported last week, she's still gonna be a grandmother 13 years from now. The Spears women live without rules and without birth control. I hope Jamie's baby son or daughter can break the hillbilly cycle, run away, and get into the foster care system by age 5.

Barbara Walters spoke to Britney's boydyguard, Sam Lutfi, and on today's broadcast of The View Barbara said,

"She [Britney Spears] has been to a psychiatrist. She, I assume, is starting some kind of treatment."

I totally buy that Britney's receiving help, but that ho also checked in and out of rehab within the same week. Once I see Britney leave her house with a bra on, I'll believe she's on the road to recovery. Until then, bitch is crazy. And once her weave looks right, we'll know the bitch is cured for life!

Her therapy should begin by locking her in a room with mirrors covering the walls and a ceiling plastered with sexy Britney pics from her glory days - some "then and now" shit. After a while she'd understand that she needs to get herself cleaned up. Physically. Emotionally. And. Physically.

America's Next Top Model's best winner yet, Eva, graced the red carpet at Crustacean's Ten Year Anniversary in Beverly Hills. Besides being a stunning, photogenic beauty, she's also driven. Eva's really made a name for herself. I respect her hustle and I love her mesmerizing eyes. She's a banger.

Eva's currently dating actor Lance Gross - the name doesn't fit. He's pretty cute.

The other week, the 453rd Angelina Jolie pregnancy rumor was being reported. Word on the blogs is that she's pregnant with twins. I didn't even bother to post it, then I saw these pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the SAG awards.

She's wearing a tent, and her breasteses look full. Those be some mommy-to-be titties.I was all worked up about Christina Aguilera not denying or confirming her pregnancy, but now I hope more celebs go the J. Lo and Xtina route. It's kinda fun when we can figure it out by the baby bump pics. :) At least I think it is. And Brad Pitt better knock up Angie again by 2009. Their genes are flawless and they make purdy kids.
