Leona Lewis on American Idol
Ms. Lewis will perform her new hit single, “Bleeding Love,” on Idol April 23!
Cowell discovered Lewis when she won X Factor, his Idol-like show in Great Britain. Her first album, Spirit, was released in the U.S. Tuesday. And get this—Spirit will reportedly debut at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart., making her the first female Brit ever to launch at the top.
Good for her! 
But I personally don’t like Leona Lewis. There’s no doubt she can belt it out, but I think she sounds like a watered down version of Mariah Carey circa the 1990’s. She just sounds like too many other singers I’ve already heard. They play her cd a lot at my work and I’m just like, ‘Make it stop! My ears aren’t bleeding love, they’re just bleeding!’ - Yeah right.
