Thomas Beatie, the world's first pregnant man, will write a memoir about his experience.Love Makes a Family: A Memoir of Hardship, Healing and an Extraordinary Pregnancy is set to hit stands September 30, Entertainment Tonight reported Thursday.

The book will chronicle Beatie's female-to-male gender reassignment surgery and later pregnancy.

Beatie, who once competed in the Miss Teen Hawaii USA pageant, gained national attention when he appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show in April with his wife, Nancy. He said his pregnancy was "human desire" and that he is "a person and I have the right to have my own biological child."

Being pregnant, said Beatie, did not make him feel more feminine. "It doesn't make me want to go and shave my legs or something," he told Winfrey. "I'm a man, I just happen to be a pregnant man."

Don't wanna offend any of you pregnant male readers out there, I just feel really bad for his child. Talk about needing therapy for life! I can't even imagine what he or she will go through at school and the lengths Thomas' kid may go to in order to shield everyone from the truth. Drama.

Sources close to the singer say she is reeling from a double betrayal �" not only by her husband of 14 years, music producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, but by a woman she considered a close friend.

Lange's relationship with Marie-Anne Thiébaud, 37, a longtime secretary and house manager at Twain and Lange's estate in Switzerland, was behind the breakup, say several sources familiar with the situation.

"Mutt and Marie-Anne left their spouses for each other and are still in a relationship," says one source.

"Their two families would vacation and spend holidays together," says the source. "Shania considered Marie-Anne one of her best friends."

After the separation was announced Lange denied that he was in a relationship, saying, "It's not true."

Whatever the reason, Twain "is devastated," says the insider. "This came out of left field."

I remember listening to a Howard Stern show forever ago when he was saying women need to have fat ugly friends if they don't want their husbands to cheat with their friends. So. Damn. True.

DAMN, I wish I had comments for this one, but I wanna throw out my billionth random thoughts on dis shit. Is it just me, or are gorgeous women frequently cheated on? Halle Berry, Shania Twain, Christie Brinkley, Carrie Underwood, me! Haha. It's like beautiful women are cheated on at a higher rate than unattractive bitches. I know cheating isn't about looks, and it's a complicated issue. Some are in it for the emotional connection, others do it for the physical connection.

Q: Is it that the boyfriends and husbands of the unattractive women think they can't get anyone hotter, so they don't even bother? Why bang a second Rosie O'Donnell when you already have one at home?

Q: And is it that the guys with the hot girls, of course, wouldn't mind banging more hot women or even less attractive women because the more the merrier, because they've already landed a hot chick.

When Nick Cannon was dragged away by wife Mariah Carey from Foxwoods, where he was hanging with Sean Combs and Quincy Jones, it wasn't to join her in bed.

Carey wanted her new hubby to keep her company at a photo shoot for Elle magazine, according to insiders. "Nick came running to her side very early Sunday morning and stayed with her until 5:30 a.m. when they wrapped," said the source.

This is so unbelievably sad, I couldn't believe it. I can't fathom what Steven Curtis Chapman's family is going through right now and the guilt his poor son must be feeling. Considering the circumstances, the Chapman family may be questioning God right now and struggling with their faith. Hopefully, this will bring them closer together and maybe through their faith they can get some closure.

Grammy-winning Christian singer Steven Curtis Chapman suffered an unthinkable tragedy Wednesday when his 5-year-old daughter was killed in an accident involving her brother. Chapman's youngest daughter, Maria Sue, was hit in the driveway of her family's Franklin, Tenn., home by an SUV driven by her teenage brother, the Associated Press reports. The brother, whose name was not released, apparently did not see the girl.

Several family members witnessed the accident, according to the AP. Maria Sue later died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, hospital spokeswoman Laurie Holloway said.

"It looks like a tragic accident," said Laura McPherson, a spokeswoman for the Tennessee Highway Patrol. No charges are expected.

"Just hours before this close knit family was celebrating the engagement of the oldest daughter Emily Chapman, and were just hours away from a graduation party marking Caleb Chapman's completion of high school. Now, they are preparing to bury a child who blew out 5 candles on a birthday cake less than 10 days ago," Chapman's manager Jim Houser wrote on a blog dedicated to Maria that was set up for condolences. "These words are unthinkable to type."

Longtime advocates of international adoption, Chapman and his wife adopted three daughters from China, including Maria, and have three biological children as well.

"After our first trip to China, my wife and I knew our lives were changing â€" our eyes and hearts were opening to how big God really is, and we have wanted to experience more of that," Chapman said on his Web site.

The singer also wrote a book about being a father titled Cinderella: The Love of Daddy and his Princess.
