Whoppi Goldberg's rep confirmed that Christian Siriano will be designing Whoppi Goldberg's dress for the Tony Awards.

As we've seen from Project Runway and Kimberly Locke's American Idol dress, Christian does not know how to dress big girls, so this should be interesting.

"I am dressing Whoopi Goldberg for the Tonys," Siriano revealed the other night at the Declare Yourself and American Eagle celebrity T-shirt launch in Los Angeles.

Reps for the Tonys and Goldberg confirmed Siriano's latest gig.

Christian can finally redeem himself and prove that he can actually dress big girls, if he really can. I can't wait to see what he'll do for Whoopi, but considering how masculine she is, he should just make her a hawt pant suit and call it a day. You can do it, Christian. :)

The Tonys will be handed out at Radio City Hall in New York City June 15 and telecast live on CBS.

As you all know, I shared with you the announcement of my newborn son, Xavier Kingston Joiner, on May 15th and also informed you that he was born prematurely. Well, this week was extremely difficult for him because his lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own.

Michael Lohan said he knows Lindsay Lohan is a born again lesbian. He claims, after the photos of Lindsay and Samantha getting cozy, their relationship "is evident to anyone with half a brain."

Mikey Lohan also said that

"Just like the [topless] Marilyn Monroe spread, Linds is my daughter and there are just some things a father doesn't want to see or hear, regardless of whether they are true or false."

He added that Lindsay, 21, "is a big girl, and she can make her own life choices. Then it is between her and God," the paparazzi and the media!

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt celebrates her birthday today. She was born May 27, 2006, in Namibia, Africa."Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born," mom Angelina Jolie has said.

Following in her parents' glamorous footsteps, Shiloh filmed a small spot in her dad's upcoming flick The Curious Case of Benjamin Button at just 10 months old.
A friend of Brangelina's said,

She is currently in Cannes, France, where the pregnant-with-twins Jolie has hinted she may give birth. Luckily, Shiloh won't have a problem burbling out the language.

"[French is] a second language in the house, although I'm still learning and am not going to attempt any of it here today," Jolie said on May 15. "My children are starting to speak French, so being here is very good for them and their language."

These two attention whores did break up, but they're back together. They spent Memorial Day weekend in Dallas where they had dinner at a steakhouse Saturday night. Tony had steak, Jess had a burger. They said hello to a baby girl on their way out too.

On Sunday, Simpson and Romo took in brunch at Sneaky Pete's in Lewisville, Texas.Simpson sported a Dallas Cowboys cap while leaving Cabo San Lucas on Thursday.

The singer had been vacationing with her parents, (sans Romo) since her sister tied the knot on May 17.

Oscar-winning director Sydney Pollack died of cancer Monday. He was 73. Pollack, who was also an actor and producer, was surrounded by family at his home in Pacific Palisades when he passed. He was diagnosed with cancer ten months ago and had been undergoing treatment for the disease, she says.

Pollack was credited with directing 20 films, including seven with Robert Redford â€" most famously The Way We Were and Out of Africa, which won him two Oscars as director and as producer of the film, which won the best picture Oscar.

Pollack also received a best director Oscar nomination for the memorable 1982 comedy starring Dustin Hoffman, Tootsie.

He achieved more than 40 producer credits â€" from Presumed Innocent to last year's Michael Clayton.

As an actor, Pollack later appeared in a number of films, including Woody Allen's Husbands and Wives, Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut and the recent Oscar-nominated Michael Clayton. He even turned up in guest roles on Frasier, Will & Grace and The Sopranos.

Pollack co-produced and stared in Michael Clayton, starring George Clooney. He also executive produced Leatherheads, a movie he worked on with George.

George Clooney said,

"Sydney made the world a little better, movies a little better and even dinner a little better. A tip of the hat to a class act," Clooney's tribute continued. "He'll be missed terribly."

Tom Cruise said,

"I first met him while he was in the midst of editing Tootsie (one of the all time classics)," Cruise, who later worked with Pollack in 1993's The Firm, said in a statement released early Tuesday morning. "I'd seen every one of his pictures and he generously took the meeting."

"Throughout the years, unpretentious and never condescending, he shared with me what he loved about family, storytelling, food, flying and a great bottle of vino," Cruise said. "He was a Renaissance man and a great friend. I will miss him dearly."

Rob Knox who plays the role of student Marcus Belby in the upcoming Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince was fatally stabbed outside Metro bar in Southeast London on Saturday morning.

The BBC reported that Knox, 18, was allegedly trying to defend his younger brother Jamie from a man armed with knives.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with the murder and will appear at a preliminary hearing Tuesday.

Knox, described as "a kind and thoughtful son" by his parents, has a small role as Marcus Belby in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (slated to be released this fall).

The teenager died from internal bleeding in the early hours of Saturday morning. Three of his friends also suffered knife wounds in the dispute.

"Rob was happy, outgoing and a fun person to be with," his father Colin said in a statement. "Rob always put everyone before himself, was always the first person to stand up against wrong. He achieved so much in his short life."

I heard about this yesterday, although more media outlets are reporting it today. I wish his family and friends the best during this difficult time. This is such a senseless tragedy. R.I.P.

I can't wait for our troops to get back here. We love you guys! Come home safe. You're still on our minds and in our thoughts and prayers.

I really hope all the troops will be able to get the psychiatric help that they need, instead of the military being understaffed and underfunded for extensive treatment, when they get back. Don't be afraid to ask, guys. Real men ask for help when they need it. In the meantime, stay strong. :)
