Shia Is Not at Fault

Too bad he was piss drunk.

Police have determined that the actor was not at fault in Sunday's car crash that sent him and two others to the hospital.

Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says detectives determined that the other driver ran a red light. Shia was turning left when his truck collided with the other car and flipped over.

"He was not at fault," Whitmore said of the Transformers actor.

Authorities are now fingering the driver of the other car, who identity has not been released. That driver was cited at the scene for the moving offense that caused the accident.

However, Shia's not off the hook. His blood alcohol level still stands. He was booked on a misdemeanor charge Sunday morning and has yet to be arraigned.

You know what this means, if Shia is booked for prison, he will serve all of 20 minutes. It would be very interesting to see if he is sentenced to serve jail time.

All the recent celebs who've been booked on DUIs - Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie, Mischa Barton, Khloe Kardashian, suspended license, Paris Hilton - all of those skanks are females. They got off easy. I wonder how early a young male celeb would be released? I know some older male celeb has beens have had DUIs but I can't remember what would happen to those fools. Interesting...
