Earlier this week there was a rumor that Shia may have to have his pinky amputated. Turns out it was false.

It's a "completely fabricated story," his publicist Melissa Kates told E! News. Shia suffered a crushed left hand after flipping his car in an accident last month. The actor had surgery on his hand, but won't be losing any fingers.
