Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi Got Married on Saturday

While every gossip blogger that I can remember said Ellen and Portia are getting married "this weekend," POTP reported that the two will get hitched on Saturday. POTP was right. I have "sources," as in, voices in my head. No, seriously, I do have sources that I didn't use, but I knew it was this Saturday. Alright, I've jumped off my high horse...

The wedding popped off Saturday night at Ellen and Portia's Beverly Hills pad.

DeGeneres, 50, and de Rossi, 35, both wore Zac Posen and exchanged rings by Neil Lane during the Saturday ceremony. Their big day also featured arrangements by L.A. florist Mark's Garden.

The wedding ceremony was no sorority mega bash or attention whore vanity project. Only 19 guests were present, including Ellen and Portia's mom (who flew in from Australia), to witness the exchange of the couple's handwritten vows. It was an intimate ceremony indeed which means it's unlikely wedding pics were sold. :(

They're so gonna last! Ellen and Portia both have "de" in their names. Being the super observant bitch that I am, I didn't even notice that until I typed the subject of this post. But that means something, doesn't it? Yeah. No wonder my relationships do not last.

Congrats to Hollywood's 1st married lesbian couple! I'm talkin' progress, folks. :)
