Rihanna’s Still Shopping Even Though Her Ex Manager Says She’s Broke
Patricia Williams, Rihanna’s ex-business manager, explained her side of the story on why her partnership with Barbados’ mega star Rihanna came to a screeching halt. Unlike Whitney Houston, Rihanna didn’t beg her to “show me the receipts!” for her crack bills, but Patricia tried to prove to RiRi that she’s broke ass and Rihanna wasn’t having it.
I can’t take my drunken ass clubbin’ anywhere without hearing Rihanna’s voice blasted through the speakers at least a few times that night, or that club in every damn club. I even try to seduce new lovers, telling them they can get under my bed cover over overs, eh.
Riri is everywhere! She’s even had deals with “JC Penny, Samsung, Covergirl, Secret, Venus Breeze” Circut City too and more, but if you work with shady or incompetent people, you can end up just as broke as you were before you got into the game. And outta control spending can sometimes leave ya in even more debt. Craziness!
“I showed her all the paperwork and tried to explain to her the circumstances but she wouldn’t listen. She called me all sorts of horrible names and stormed off. I now feel compelled to share with the world the background story as I will not allow my name to be slandered”
According to Willliams, Marc Jordan, manager and owner of Rebel One Management has been taking care of Rihanna’s financial situation with her.
“Def Jam doesn’t fund Rihanna properly, so Marc uses the money Rihanna makes from third-party endorsements and from tours to fund her album and music videos.”
