Hayden Panettiere’s Dad Charged With Misdemeanor Battery
Although Hayden’s mom forgave her husband and said their brawl was no big deal, he’s still being charged.
Hayden Panettiere’s father has been charged with misdemeanor battery.
Alan was booked in August, on a charge of felony domestic violence, for allegedly hitting wife Lesley in the cheek, leaving a visible bruise. They were spotted arguing at a Hollywood charity benefit earlier in the night.
Police were summoned to their West Hollywood home at 3:15 a.m. after the incident.
Alan is due in court next month. If convicted, he could get one year in jail. Both Alan and Lesley have been downplaying the arrest.
“It was all a big misunderstanding,” Alan recently told Extra.
Although a police report claims Alan struck Lesley three times, the couple insist “nothing actually happened.
Extra reported that Hayden found out about her dad’s arrest when he called her from jail.
If someone hits you three times, what’s there to misunderstand? Shiiiiit. Do you need to be laying in your own pool of blood to gain clarity? How about being carried away in an ambulance for some closure?
If it took Alan decades before he laid hands on his wife, this is what he deserves - to learn his lesson via the court system. Eat it.
