Mandy Moore has put mom Stacy on her Do Not Call list.
The pop star-actress has refused to speak to Stacy since March, when she left Mandy's dad, Don, for a woman!
"When Mandy's mom came out as a lesbian and took up with Claudette Laliberte, Mandy felt betrayed," a source tells Star. "She always believed that her mom and dad were happy and that her mom was straight. Now she has no idea what to believe and feels as if she's been lied to her entire life."
First let me begin by saying that I found this story on Star Magazine. The article went on to say some shiz I don't believe is true:
Their estrangement is now causing problems between Mandy and her soon-to-be-married older brother, Scott. According to the source, Mandy has warned him that if their mom is at his wedding later this year, she's not coming.
That's a stretch! I doubt Mandy would ban her own mother from her brother's wedding. Star magazine is famous for fabricating, but it's doubtful that they would say Mandy Moore's mother is a lesbian if it's not true. They have nothing to gain from such a rumor. Who knew?
And I do believe Mandy's not talking to her lezzie mom right now, and I also think she'll get over it eventually. Hopefully sooner than after Christmas.
