Lindsay Lohan 'Our First Colored President' Access Hollywood Video Interview

It's supposed to be a big deal that Lindsay Lohan says that Barack is gonna be "our first colored president." You know how many interviews I've seen with black people saying "we will have the first person of color in office." So should Linds have switched her words up a bit and said "person of color" instead of "colored president?" YES, which I think is completely ridic.

This interview is also painful to watch. I wanna slap Lindsay with my biggest, heaviest purse. She's too intense, bitchy, hoarsed sounding and intense. Maria Menunos doesn't look relaxed at all. Linds is a tough interviewee from hell who likes to look all around and smirk at questions she thinks are dumb. Such a snob. And I love Maria Menunos. She's one of the nicest celebrities I've ever interviewed. Don't make my Maria squirm, bitch! Ugh. Linds is a lot of work.

What about 'biracial', is that an acceptable term? Had LL referred to P-E Obama as our 1st Biracial POTUS, would that have been ok?

If it is offensive to use the 'c' word by anyone, then why does Whoopi Goldberg say its ok for black-only people to use the 'n' word?

This is a revision of history. Blacks asked to be called colored because they did not like the N word. So it was done. Later they asked to be called Black so that was done. Lately they asked to be called African Americans but its to late America is fed up that they want to change the name of the race every 20 years or so.

It was never a derogatory term. My god can you imagine a raciest calling a black a colored instead of the N word.

If you thinks blacks did not pick and embrace this term then how do you explain blacks placing the word colored in the name NAACP?

Calling this a derogatory term shows you have a profound ignorance of history.

And in response to you Charles,

As far as the NAACP goes, that is totally different. The times we were living in when that organazation was created were times where that word was in heavy use. By both black and white people. It is not the same as someone saying 'colored' loosely in 2008. I would look at a black person the same as white, if 'colored' came out their mouths, at this day and age.

Please don't use the hipocrisy card. It does not measure up in this instance next to the NAACP!

The bottom line is, you have to be up to date with the times. You have to be up to date with what is appropriate. Period.

Comparing terms used for people of color, such as myself, and the name of an organization which was created in 1909 are on two totally different playing fields.

Who cares what she meant to say? She said COLORED! I don't care what she meant to say. It is what was said that matters.

I don't for one minute think that Lindsay is a racist, but I also think that she needs a bit of polishing. You cannot just slip with something like this. You cannot.

Ignorance is NOT excusable, not even for stars such as Ms. Lohan.

    This is ridiculous!

THAT IGNORANT LITTLE B___H NEEDS TO GO BACK INTO REHAB! THE DRUGS SHE WAS TAKING REALLY BURNED OUT HER BRAIN CELLS! THIS IS JUST THAT ANOTHER PUBLIC RACIST HAS BEEN CAUGHT! I WILL NEVER, EVER WATCH ANYTHING SHE DOES! I'LL JUST WAIT FOR HER FUNERAL! LINDSAY! BURN IN HELL!!!!!!!!

    Charles makes sense.

  7. Charles

Have we gone through all the books and movies ( To Kill A Mockingbird) that have words that are offensive to everybody in and anybody, in every language and burned them?
This country will always be divisive.

If its racist then any person not of african descent should not be allowed to say what the letters NAACP represent.

I suppose its the same for UNCF.

    Hypocrisy at its worst.
