What Would Mr. Miyagi Say?

Will Smith Jaden Smith photo

No Smith son!

Will Smith's cutie son Jaden will ruin a classic in the remake of Karate Kid.

Variety magazine reported this rumor months ago and the script is being written just for Jaden. Hookups!

The 10-year-old - who's currently a martial arts practitioner - starred with his dad in 2006's The Pursuit of Happyness.

The script, which is still being written, will be similar to the 1984 franchise, in which a bullied kid learns to stand up for himself with the help of his quirky karate coach.

But instead of Hawaii, the flick will be filmed in Beijing, China, in 2009. No release date is set.

Dad Will is to serve as producer.

I'm interested to see what this remake will bring. I think Jaden is too young and too mini to be kicking ass as a Karate Kid. But whatever. Will and Jada are doing a really good job picking the right roles in major films for their kids to come up in. I wish them all the best. This Karate Kid remake will probably pull in thick dolla at the box office as much as I don't support the "idea."

Ashanti in Concert Pics From Albuquerque

Ashanti picture

Bitch looks like a low rent Sasha Fierce. Crazy thing is, Ashanti's vocals have gotten much better, but her sales don't represent that. And I'm pretty disturbed that I'm not seeing any camel toe. If you're subjecting me to viewing all your thigh and butt dimples, then you owe me some serious outlines in your nether regions or I want a refund.

Lindsay Lohan 'Our First Colored President' Access Hollywood Video Interview

It's supposed to be a big deal that Lindsay Lohan says that Barack is gonna be "our first colored president." You know how many interviews I've seen with black people saying "we will have the first person of color in office." So should Linds have switched her words up a bit and said "person of color" instead of "colored president?" YES, which I think is completely ridic.

This interview is also painful to watch. I wanna slap Lindsay with my biggest, heaviest purse. She's too intense, bitchy, hoarsed sounding and intense. Maria Menunos doesn't look relaxed at all. Linds is a tough interviewee from hell who likes to look all around and smirk at questions she thinks are dumb. Such a snob. And I love Maria Menunos. She's one of the nicest celebrities I've ever interviewed. Don't make my Maria squirm, bitch! Ugh. Linds is a lot of work.

So Embarassing!

There's no excuse for this. This security guard needs a serious talking-to!

Brad Pitt was grabbed, pushed and spun around by a plainclothes security guard at the premiere of his new movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in L.A. on Monday.

Angelina Jolie's baby daddy arrived at UCLA's Bruin Theatre in Westwood half an hour before the film was scheduled to end so he could answer questions from the audience about the film.

Photographers followed him as he entered the lobby. Upon the commotion, a security guard in plain clothes had a karate studio brochure in his teeth as he manhandled Bradley.

Pitt looked bewildered and shaken, but he was able to pull free and go up a stairway to escape. The stairway only led up to bathrooms.

Pitt had to wait a bit while the lobby was cleared before he was able to walk back down without any problems.

I'm sure Brad and a lot of other actors are eager to get back to that theatre now.

Britney Spears' two-year-old son Jayden is out of hospital and back with his family, according to a post on the singer's Web site.

"A source close to the Spears family has told us that Britney and family have left the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center," says the update. "Jayden is fine."

The boy was hospitalized overnight after suffering a "terrible allergic reaction" to something he ingested.

Brit Brit needs to keep her cigarettes away from the young uns. So glad he's okay!

My Rant About Gay Rights Advocates' Reactions to Gay Marriage Bans

Gay marriage is the civil rights issue of our time and everyone deserves equal rights, but to cite Barack Obama's win as a symbol of change and acceptance and to whine about not being able to legally marry is comparing apples and oranges.

Stripped down, a few simple factors are the basis of why Barack Obama won the 2008 Presidential election:

A) The economy is currently in peril. B) He's half white. C) Joe Biden is white. D) Sarah Palin is incompetent. E) The Republican Party has a low approval rating.

My ancestors have been enslaved for 400 years and 100 million have died in the slave trade, 150 years after emancipation, Barack Obama is the President-elect. From basic calculations, one can conclude that centuries of barbaric human rights violations later and a black president will be in office. How many hundreds of years has gay marriage been placed on the ballot?!

I understand that the LGBTQ community is being discriminated against and prejudice is injustice. I'm African American, I get it, but statements are being made with a tone that suggests, 'How dare a black man lead and we can't marry?!' Sounds like hints of bigotry to me.

Those in favor of banning gay marriage vary. Religious folks of all races vote against gay marriage. I know black people who voted in support of gay marriage and white people who voted against it, yet I'm lumped into one category as a homophobic black person because of my race.

Are gay people forgetting the history of this country - racism, sexism, classism, ageism, homophobia, prejudice - bigotry!!!! Is that going to vanish quickly just because you want it to?

If religion continues to be used as a source to fight "evil" in the forms of reproductive rights, gay marriage and more, shouldn't that be considered as the main factor that's stalling legalized gay rights? Many religious citizens don't consider electing a biracial man as president to be a sin, but they perceive gay marriage to be morally wrong. Why compare Barack Obama to gay marriage? Once again, apples and oranges, people, and that argument is weak at best.

Be patient with this very new issue. You will have your moment soon. :) It's overdue, but it's coming.

Quote Me of The Day: Isaiah Washington

In the Nov. 17 issue of TV Guide, ex-Grey's Anatomy standout star Isaiah Washington weighs in on the firing of Brooke Smith, an actress who played a lesbian on Grey's Anatomy, a role execs felt uncomfortable with so they gave her the axe.

"I looked at a brilliant actress, whom I have adored since I first saw her in Silence of the Lambs. For her to be treated this way, I find very interesting. The fact is that, just before the holidays, you have a mother, a wonderful actress removed from a steady income without the proper reasoning behind it...

"You look at the way another consummate professional [is] being treated because her character, her story line [has] potentially made producers uncomfortable. [Grey's creator] Rhimes is getting the raw deal.

"Now that I see what they're doing to a show that I love and I care about, I think it's disgusting. The fact that Shonda has been put in this position is extremely unfair.

"It's unfortunate because it was probably, at the time, the most progressive show on television. Now I see it [being] systematically torn apart."

I couldn't agree more with everything Isaiah said. Thanks for rep'n this poor woman who was exploited and treated like dookey. Her character could have gone back to men for dildo's sake! Brooke's character didn't have to be written out entirely and I hope she finds work soon. She's a great actress.

Lohan Talks Ronson, Says She's Not a Lesbian

Lindsay Lohan's on the new issue of Harper's Bazaar where she reveals much more about her lesbian tendencies than she has before.

"I think it's pretty obvious who I'm seeing. I think it's no shock to anyone that it's been going on for quite some time. ... She's a wonderful person and I love her very much."

Has she been with a girl before? "I don't know. Maybe," she says.

Asked if she considers herself bisexual, Lohan, 22, says, "Maybe. Yeah."

A lesbian? "No," Lohan says.

"I don't want to classify myself. First of all, you never know what's going to happen " tomorrow, in a month, a year from now, five years from now.

I love how Lindsay keeps reminding men that her pussy lips will be wide open for business when her relationship with SamRo ends. Also, with all the attention Lindsay's faux lesbian relationship receives, I'm starting to think it's her best career move yet?
