The BBC reports that according to court lists, Madonna and Guy Ritchie will be granted a preliminary divorce decree at the High Court in London on Friday. After six weeks and a day, the divorce would be made final.

The former couple announced they were divorcing in October after almost eight years of marriage.

Madonna will keep the bulk of her estimated $500 million fortune intact, though Ritchie was entitled by law to a share of it.

Additionally, Rocco and David will split time between the U.S. and London, while Lourdes, whose father is Carlos Leon, will live with her mother.

"He could have hugely boosted his bank balance and set himself up for life, but he already feels he has enough money. He also didn't want the whole thing dragging on in the public gaze for months and months and, in any case, his priority was the children's future."

Alright, I hope that Guy really thought his decision through. He would walk away with hundreds of millions. And, after I think about it more, I think he's going to regret this. Guy's friends and anyone who meets him is going to talk shit about how stupid he was. I hope it all works out for him.

Dallas Austin, the creator of the term "Fuckin' for Tracks," puts Real Housewives of Atlanta's wannabe country singer Kim on blast.

"We are not doing a song, we are not doing an album … that was only for television!

Dallas Austin is truly an asshole. He came out saying Xtina Aguilera, Joss Stone and many other chicks in the game "fuck for tracks," then he apologized. Kim's dumb ass probably doesn't even know his history; she just knows he's a big producer.

Goes like this: Kim's boyfriend "Big Poppa" set her up with Dallas. Big Poppa is a married mogul named Lee Najjar and, in my opinion, Kim is a high priced tranny escort who gets Lee to buy her stuff like an Escalade, jewelry and music industry contacts. After seven months Kim and Lee broke up, and now it appears that her connection to Dallas is over, too.

Disclaimer: This is a rant. So, one of my new biggest pet peeves is the all too common saying "It could have been worse." I say it myself and I have no problem with people saying it as part of a paragraph or one of many statements, but to hear of one's drama then give a knee jerk proclamation of "It could have been worse!" makes me wanna kick you in the jaw and the crotch at the same time.

Yesterday I text my friend about my health condition because I didn't wanna talk (I'll post about my condition later today or tomorrow) and she pretty much said,

It could have been worse.

Really? Bitch, thanks for the insight.

I remember in Dr. Phil's first book he talked about how someone can tell someone w/ a broken toe, "It could have been worse, you could have lost your leg," but that's irrelevant and doesn't discount from the pain and discomfort and feelings about your hurt toe. Your leg has not been amputated, your toe hurts, you're pissed about it, and you deserve to be!

I was impressed with your comments yesterday on my car accident post. None of you simply said, "it could have been worse." I hate that statement because it is used as a substitute for STFU when you try to say something and all the other person offers is a generic, redundant statement because A) They don't wanna hear about it or B) They dunno what to say and they don't wanna hear about it.

Don't ya think the person who was hit at 50+ MPH and thrust into traffic on one of the busiest streets in town would have some faint understanding of what "could have been worse?"

Yay for the paps! There's always so many crazy stories that come from the British tabloids, but this one seems to be true.

Basically, Samantha Ronson was djing at Boujis nighclub, a favorite of Prince William and Prince Harry, when she spotted Lindsay Lohan dancing with her ex-boyfriend Calum Best. Calum is prettier than Sam, I can kind of understand where the jealousy came from. Lindsay and Samantha had an argument at the club, then when they were taken to their hotel at 4 a.m. Samantha Ronson is videotaped storming out of their limo while Lindsay waits inside for a while, looking distraught.

Lindsay and Sam's relationship is a volcano waiting to explode, but I think they're fine for now. Their drama was a good thing simply because makeup sex is the best. Lesbian makeup sex is probably even better.

As you must know by now, Paris Hilton and Benji Madden have finally ended their relationship of nine months. Paris' rep has confirmed this heart wrenching news with the following statement:

"Even though they are still in love, they felt it would be better to just be friends,"

The reason for the split?

"Benji was overprotective and controlling. He doesn't get along with any of her friends. Friends thought Paris had changed since being with Benji and she wants to be herself again."

Everyone knows they split because of the pictures that surfaced on Monday of Paris hanging out with her ex, Nachos. The moment I saw those photos, I knew their relationship was over. Benji is too prideful to deal with the embarrassment of everyone telling him his girlfriend is cheating.

"Nothing went on between Paris and Stav in Miami. She was there for a girls weekend with her BFFs. Benji really respected her, they will be friends forever."

Britney Spears says she regrets wedding Kevin Federline in a new tease for her documentary, Britney: For The Record (airing Nov. 30 on MTV).

"I think I married for all the wrong reasons. Instead of following my heart and, like, doing something that made me really happy, I just did it because...for just, like, the idea of everything."

I have issues, duh... no, I have issues with Britney Spears saying she married for the wrong reasons and "the idea of everying." Britney Spears was clearly bat shit in love with Daddy Dude. When she was with him she looked the happiest she ever looked in her life, ever.

Saying you married for the "wrong reasons" is safe and cliche and accurate in regards to how rapidly she got hitched, but she married for love and "the idea of everything" involving marriage and love, which is smart and respectable, just not when you marry an unemployed sperminator.

I also find Brit Brit's statements troubling because I think she's been meditating on her shit too long. If you look in her eyes while she talks about her failed marriage, she looks lost. People really should acknowledge extinguished relationships as something that was great instead of twisting it into this evil, evil beast of a thing that took hold of you and modified the very core of your being and robbed you of all self-esteem.

And why do I feel like a Dr. Phil wannabe right now?
