Last summer Samantha Ronson was looking for a lawyer to represent her in her lawsuit against a Perez Hilton story. Although she hired veteran New York attorney Martin Garbus, Sam lost her lawsuit against Perez. Samantha then sued Martin, but she's not getting away that easily. Martin has sued her ass back and it looks like things may get very ugly very soon.

Now the fight between this solicitor and this celebrity �" he's appeared before the Supreme Court; she appears in Us Weekly �" threatens to expose information about Lohan and Ronson that Perez Hilton could only dream about.

Garbus' attorneys have identified Lohan as the most critical witness in the case besides the two litigants and have requested information concerning their relationship, finances, possible drug use and alleged rehab stays. In one measure of how far his defense plans to go, they have asked for copies of every text message and e-mail between the women over the last two years.

"Totally acceptable worry. It'll likely happen," Hilton squealed on his blog.

A judge issued a protective order for Ronson, making confidential the time and place of her deposition, and limiting the number of video recordings and transcripts. Attorneys told the judge they were negotiating a similar arrangement with Lohan.

If Samantha knows what's good for her she'll settle this case before all of her business is irretrievably released to the masses forever. But I hope she doesn't! Bring on the lezzie text message sex.

"Tara Reid has checked herself into Promises Treatment Center. We appreciate your respect to her and her family's privacy at this time," the actress's rep Jack Ketsoyan tells PEOPLE.

The rep would not reveal what Reid, 33, is being treated for.

A friend of the troubled actress says she headed to the treatment facility on Tuesday.

"Her friends and family are supportive of her decision," says the friend. "She checked in herself â€" it was her decision."

It is unclear if Reid, who launched the fashion line Mantra in September, will spend the holidays at Promises.
