Chris Brown Arrest, Faces Domestic Violence Felony Battery Charge
After attending Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party yesterday in Beverly Hills, Chris Brown allegedly hit Rihanna in a car. Rihanna and Chris have canceled their Grammy appearances at the last minute. Rihanna was supposed to perform, but according to The Insider, Rihanna's face is still "slightly bruised."
Chris Brown is under investigation for alleged domestic violence felony battery, the LAPD confirms.
Around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, the R&B singer and a woman were in a vehicle in L.A. when they became involved in an argument. After stopping his car, Brown and the woman got out and the argument escalated. The woman suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker, according to police.
The LAPD received a 911 call reporting the disturbance. When officers arrived they found the victim, but Brown had already left the scene, the statement reads. The LAPD is conducting an investigation into the incident.
I guess it's safe to say the Rihanna and Chris Brown's relationship has officially ended. There is no way Princess RiRi is going to stay with Chris after this. In my book, any man who hits a woman is a ridiculous coward, but hitting the woman who pops your zits is seriously crossing the line, buddy.
UPDATE: Chris Brown turned himself in to the LAPD and has been released on $50,000 bail.

Yes. Girls get on your nerves sometimes. I know my girlfriend does at times. But that does not mean we should hit women. Women deserve as much respect as men do. Chris brown was hurt when his step-daddy hit his mommy so he should imagine how rihanna's mommy is gonna feel after this. I know if I was her mother he'd be in his death bed by now he has no right to put his hands on a women, any men who puts his hands on a women is a straight up bitch.

i always knew that the dude was a straight up loser and this display of bitch-assness only confirms it.No man has the right to abuse any woman no matter what the situation may be and i hope he gets punished within the fullest extent of the law-i agree with raul that zulu's comment was really misinformed because it doesnt matter what she did he still had no right to put his hands on her.He's lucky it was Rhianna he hit and not another woman cause i know i would have kicked the shit out of him if it had been me.

This just goes to show how patterns can develop in a person's life if issues aren't dealt with. Chris has talked extensively about how his own mother was physically abused by his step-father and how much it troubled him. He saw that growing up as a kid and is apparently following in those footsteps. Hitting Rihanna is not cool and he needs to get help.

Aww hellz naw! I never took Chris Brown for a woman beater, but he has proved that he is a punk.
I wonder what his female fans are going to think. I certainly hope they don't defend his actions.
And I hope Rihanna has sense enough to leave this relationship.
