After Miley Cyrus posted a racist picture of her and her non-Asian friends stretching out their eyes, she gave an "apology" citing that they were simply "making goofy faces" and the only reason we're talking about her is because Brit Brit isn't bats*it anymore.
Miley began her apology with the following,
"I've also been told there are some people upset about some pictures taken of me with friends making goofy faces!" she wrote. "Well, I'm sorry if those people looked at those pics and took them wrong and out of context!"
Miley Cyrus' half-hearted "apology" isn't convincing the Organization of Chinese Americans.
"The picture is offensive and now this statement is inadequate," George Wu, Executive Director of the OCA, an Asian-American equality group tells Celebuzz.
That's not enough, says Wu: "It's not a real apology. We're not backing down without a fuller apology."
I'm thrilled that the Organization of Chinese Americans is still displeased with Miley Cyrus and they're not backing down. If only she allowed her PR rep to write her apology this would be over right now. But a "Well, I'm sorry!" doesn't exactly have a heartfelt and sincere ring to it. Dumb Disney Slut!

Honestly, I think this is being blown out of proportion. As she said, it's just goofy faces. I'm not for Miley, nor am I against her, but seriously.
A force apology is not a true, sincere apology. Do the OAC not get that?
She's a kid. Kids do stupid things. Yeah, she's in the limelight, she's a star and a "role model" but people need to get over this already. I did a hell of a lot worse as a teen then make faces for pictures.
That's just my opinion. Don't hold it against me.

At 16, I don't think this bitch is a kid. She's an idiot and slanting your eyes isn't funny. Why weren't they sticking out their tongues too or slanting their eyes and spreading their nostrils simultaneously if they indeed were simply "making goofy faces?"
I don't like Miley so I'm glad she's catching the heat. The OAC knows that Miley won't honestly be sorry, but it's all about respect, demand it if you have to. We live in a PC world, folk can't take pictures like that.

I personally am not a fan of Miley, at all, but I agree with DM. I also think it's wrong how people feel as if though they have the right to insult her, call her a "bitch", and criticize her at their will as if they knew her on a personal level...Which I seriously doubt is the case. So, I say we all play the bigger person here and move on with our lives. :)
Ps. Did anyone else notice the second guy from the left in the picture? ... double take anyone?
