OK! Magazine claims they know the details of the events leading up to Chris Brown attacking Rihanna. According to OK! the couple were fighting all weekend. When they arrived in LA on Thursday they fought over which kind car to drive to the Grammy rehearsals.
Chris wanted to take a sports car but Rihanna wanted a larger one so she could bring friends. Eventually Chris won, and they took his Lamborghini. Couples are so dumb. I wondered if they ever considered driving separately.
Friday night the couple went to the Verizon & BlackBerry Storm Grammy party at Boulevard 3. While Rihanna performed, Chris Brown talked to Paris Hilton.
"He and Paris went outside together," a witness tells OK!. Back inside, they got closer. "Paris was all over him," the partygoer says. "Rihanna caught wind of it and spent the rest of the night glued to him."
Tension was reaching it's breaking point Saturday night. The couple attended Clive Davis' party separately.
Arriving solo, a stern Chris dismissed the press and made his way to the ballroom. Shortly afterward, Rihanna arrived and forced a smile for photographers before leaving for the red carpet. Suddenly Chris reappeared as if he was going to meet Rihanna but she was gone. "It was," says the source, "an awkward moment."
They managed to make it through the party without having a fight, but events took a violent turn around 12:20 am when Rihanna found an ex-girlfriend's number in Chris' phone. We all know what happened next.
So Paris Hilton was only a small part in this attack, and it's not really her fault. Rihanna was clearly insecure in her relationship with Chris Brown. Though she may have been jealous and angry, the only one to blame is Chris Brown.

I'm not a Paris fan, but I wouldn't pin this on her. Chris is a cheater. He has hit on two of my friends and he's a whore.
Of course Rihanna got pissed, she's probably heard many stories and found various clues. She wasn't insecure, more like stupid in love. He's a loser and poor thing was holding onto a douche.
There's no way that this was the first time he hit her. The abuse escalated and I'm sure that revelation will come out soon enough.
There were always rumors that Chris hit her, but I never believed 'em. Once again - this just proves that Paris had shit to do with this. He was hitting Rihanna before the night of the Grammys party and probably would again if he didn't get busted this time.

I agree. Most cases of abuse are escalated. It is likely that he hit her before.

Fighting over which car to take..I don't think their relationship was too solid to begin with! I heard a rumor that he has herpies and that started the whole fight. Maybe he did sleep with Paris (I LOVE YOU GIRL):)!! Who knows, either way the end result is unjustifiable!

Well I can speak bad about paris hilton she did not force his hand about getting together he agree. This boy have a problem and in a big way abusing a girl is not the answer. Cheating is not good you must be able the walk away once you get caught. Rhianna can do better end the relationship now once a man hit you he will be forever beating you.

Chris Brown is amazingly sexy ( = I was in love with him, and I still sorta am? I'd never want to date a woman beater though. Goes to show who's a punk in that relationship... cough, Chris. If a man/boy hits a woman/girl then obviously you ARE a punk because you KNOW you can beat that person up? I've had boy's hit on me... BOY'S... Chris Brown is a boy and until he stops hitting women, he'll never be a man.
