Rihanna's Album Sales Soar
In the wake of a Grammy day altercation that left her in the hospital and him under arrest, Rihanna was embraced by a clearly sympathetic public. Sales of her 2007 album, Good Girl Gone Bad, surged 33 percent, selling another 25,000 copies at No. 31
Meanwhile, Brown's 2007 album, Exclusive, continued to see sluggish sales, failing to register among the Top 200.
This is only the beginning. I can't wait for the must have angry breakup songs she'll release on her new disc - that's what some great songwriters will be hired to do. I thought "Take a Bow" and "Breakin' Dishes" were good, but RiRi needs to milk this whole physical altercation business with some great new tracks. She should also work on a mase keychain line while she's at it and release stunna shades called "Black Eye, inspired by Chris Brown."

No surprise, people always need a rude awakening that they actually like a non-descript celeb. Same when one passes at a young age.
