2009 Academy Awards Winners, Slumdog Millionaire Swept, Sean Penn is the Upset

Slumdog Millionaire is a good movie, saw it like a month and a half ago, but hot dayum, there's a lot of hype for this flick. Geezus. I'm kind of in love with the Academy, you want them on your side. Once you're in, you are in!

Sean Penn was the upset. I wanted Mickey Rourke to get his trophy, but I'm really happy for Sean and his powerful pro-gay marriage speech.

Kate Winslet, I love you, woman! So excited for her. Excited for Slumdog, too. I have no complaints. I saw pretty much all the movies nominated this year, with the exception of a few. Handing out the awards is clearly the best part of the Oscars, all the Broadway musical shit and performances had me doing other things.

I can't believe how much I enjoyed the show this year. Hugh Jackman was a great host. Super funny!

  2. Craigmackk Says:

Mickey seemed a lil' upset at the Oscars when Sean Penn accepted his award and in post-interviews, as if he was gonna go all "Wrestler" over someone at any point.

So who accepted Heath's award last night? Sorry - I didn't watch the show. Not because there was a big NASCAR race on or anything like that.
