John Mayer tells E! what he thinks of Twitter. He's already receiving backlash, defending himself on his Twitter page.

"It's inherently silly and it's inherently dumb. If you really think that Twitter is the pathway to spiritual enlightenment, well... It's one step away from sending pictures of your poop."

"I've always communicated at a high level as best I can whether it's Twitter, Napster or message boards or wherever. I don't have a devotion to Twitter. I didn't sell out to Twitter. You do Twitter until everybody gets off of Twitter and it's something else you go and try out."

John Player updates his Twitter incessantly. What a hypocritical douche! That being said, I wouldn't have a Twitter if I didn't have a website cause it's just posted IMs and it is dumb. I've always said it. It's also a trend that will die just like MySpace did. So get  in on it now. :) If you don't have a Twitter, hurry up and make one!
