Britney Spears vs. Papa Spears
Within the past week new stories are surfacing that paint Britney's career savior Papa Spears as an overbearing authoritarian who is making her miserable. First it was reported that Jamie Spears is trying to shut down Britney Spears #1 fan site, now Britney's former manager Sam Lutfi's sister is confirming rumors that Britney is not allowed to own a cell phone. Christina also says that Papa Spears threatens to take away Britney's custody if she doesn't comply.
Sam's sister Christina, 25, testified in court yesterday that Britney called her from a hotel in January, asking for her to bring her a cell phone. Christina met Brit Brit at the hotel gym and gave her one. Christina said,
"[Britney] told me she wanted to get a hold of Sam. She wanted him to help her find a lawyer, and wanted someone to get a prepaid cell phone to her. She was scared because her father was blackmailing her with visitation rights over her kids."
Christina told Britney that the phone was from both Adnan and Sam and Britney asked, "Will Sam be able to help me?"
Britney's camp later confiscated the phone shortly after. Closing arguments for Sam Lutfi's restraining order extension hearing will be heard on April 21.
Britney has been a puppet from Disney, her record label, her handlers and her father. No wonder she got married twice and shaved her head. Me thinks Britney should have held off on her divorce from K-Fat cause she would not be in the predicament that she's in now. It's like, where did it go wrong and how did things get so bad? Naturally I am blaming Daddy Dude! :)

I am not sure about all this, one moment I am so sure Daddy Spears is saving Britney from herself, other times I just think (like you say above) my parents would never be this excessive!

Lindsay Lohan would never put up with this shit from Michael Lohan though, she would straight whoop his ass! I'm talkin' about pullin' a Shamwow if he even attempted to give her half the restrictions Papa Spears gives Britney.
And Britney has no friends but she should be able to have text message sex with Adnan if she wants to. She's the one making the millions.
I hate watching this unfold cause my Dad would never do this mess to me either. It's excessive and uncalled for.
Britney will never speak to her dad again, at least I wouldn't, and I would completely agree with her decision. I don't believe in not speaking w/ relatives but considering how hard she's working, she should be entitled to some privileges.

Why is Britney being treated like a convicted felon with a flight risk? It's 2009 for Christ's sakes, and maybe Brit needs a cell phone for emergencies and to communicate with some of her buddies. She seems to have a sense of order and semblance of her life now anyways.
