Miss California's Carrie Prejean was on the Today Show this morning to say that she strongly believes in "protecting marriage."
Carrie said,
"I am just here to protect marriage. The National Organization for Marriage basically just respects marriages and people who support it. I am here to protect traditional marriage.
I never thought in a million years that this would be happening right now. I was attacked for giving my own opinion on stage. I am going to do whatever it takes to protect marriage.
Marriage, she added, "is something that is very dear to my heart, and I am just here to protect it. That's all I am here to do."
Carrie also said that even though people have different opinions, we need to respect each other because "it's all about respect."
I really enjoy watching Carrie speak cause she's fluent in Retard. She's passionate about "protecting marriage" and she's obviously passionate about being famous for being a bigot. Go head now?

She's all about tradition, eh? So when it was traditional for the woman to bow down to the man and basically be owned by him, that was all well and good? It's traditional for women to speak only when spoken to, to not vote, to not exercise freedom over their own selves, to be basically a toy for the man's use? Gotcha, Carrie baby. Enjoy medieval-dome. I'm moving forward into the 21st century. Dumb ass. She is definitely fluent in moron.
I don't get how two consenting adults, committing themselves to each other, remotely impacts someone else's life or marriage. I just don't. There isn't a single argument these people can make that holds even a drop of water. But then, bigotry and discrimination is by it's nature incomprehensible. Thankfully, MY God seems to be moving forward into a more realistic realm, albeit granted the fight is not over and is far from easy. People like her can throw rocks in the road...they'll just be, eventually, crushed and used as a foundation for a very strong road to be used by all to travel on freely.
She needs to grow the hell up.

Well, it appears the thought police are out in force this week. I assume you enjoy listening to fluent retard because that's your native tongue?
In all honesty, do you really believe people that disagree with you are bigoted? I'd hate to be in a relationship with you with that hanging over my head!
Bit of advice, read a bit more, talk a bit less, the electrons on the Internet will appreciate it.

Hey if you have a moron as your spokesperson then it just shows how ridiculous your agenda is. Good luck because in 5 years gay marriage willl be legal everywhere and all you haters are going to have suck it!! LOL!! Keep trying to stop it, it won't happen. It might not be passing right now but it will. I can't wait to laugh in your face you hatemongers! Yeaaa, you will lose to a bunch of queens and butches...that has to hurt just a little!

I think this girl is being unfairly attacked for taking a position that many politicians considered liberal take as well. It is an emotional issue but everyone is entitled to their opinion

I still think she has a right to personal opinion. Why on earth she is actually preaching at this point is beyond me.

I don't see why it's retarded to believe in the sanctity of marriage. Realistically Marriage is a very religious ceremony so why all of you non believing athiests would want a religious ceremony is beyond me. I mean we all know the only reason gay people want to get married is Benefits and death rights so give it to them in a pretty certificate and they will stop wanting to get married. I don't get it marriage is so overrated. I mean do gays really want to participate in something that fails 50% of the time? Hey that woman spoke her mind and just like all of us she is entitled to her opinion and beliefs even if we think she is wrong. Because when people can tell start telling her what she can believe or not believe in everyones rights are history. Because there will always be someone who will be there to take yours away.

She has every right to believe what she wishes. What she isn't allowed (or shouldn't be allowed) is to enact law that denies rights a fellow citizen should be automatically entitled to based on her and her fellow believers wishes/beliefs. By virtue of being a citizen of this country the gays are required to contribute financially, etc., yet they are restricted based on a discriminatory bias. Equal rights should be just that. And a "pretty piece of paper" should then suffice for both straight and gay then. What do you think the reaction would be if you told "them" that? Right. Thought so. Point is...it's not that hard, it's not rocket science, it's basic equality of life. A person can believe any damned way they want...in their home...in their life...what the CAN'T do is impose it on someone else's.
Interesting that it's such a hot button issue...such blinders that exist. Poor God...I truly don't believe He wishes anything but love...bastardization of His original blessing has sure caused some serious pain. What a waste.
Still trying to figure out why someone else's relationship and it's description is so much an issue to someone else...

Can some one tell me why The Word Retard is acceptable to use as a insult for people who disagree with them it makes you the very thing you are calling HER a Stupid Ignorant BIGGOT who believes they should be treated like you are being treated now, I do believe gays should get married but to attack people who are mentally retarded by putting there condition out there is cruel to the the parents and family members of Retarded citizens in this country.

Yeah for marriage between a man and a woman. If gays want to go screw each other that is fine but I do not have to condone that behavior or pay for them to have benefits. I do not want children growing up seeing that and thinking it is OK or acceptable. If I want to "Marry my dog" do I have a right to do that? Can I get tax breaks and benefits? Oh boy do I love fiddo! Go try to get married in Iran you idiots and see what serious conservative are, be cause they will kill you. At least here in the US you can claim to be whatever you want but please keep it private and don't push it. You are not going to change my mind and I am not going to try to change yours but I do not have to support that lifestyle.
