American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino is the newest New York, baby! Fantasia has signed on with Vh1 to star in a reality show focused on her life as a recording artist and single mother. The show will premiere in early 2010.
Fantasia is all kinds of hoodrat so this one should be good!
Vh1 has been creaming over this. VP of VH1 programming, Jeff Olde, said:
"So many people wanted to work with her on this, but Fantasia is now part of the VH1 family, and we're so happy to have her. We look forward to smashing expectations and revealing the fresh, funny and unexpected side of this one-of-a-kind country girl and superstar."
Once the VH1 dude talks about the show it sounds way boring, but I think it'll be good. There's gonna be lots of scary shiz in it fo sho: Fantasia without a weave, Fantasia without makeup, no bra, going on dates, fighting with the baby daddy, cussing out bill collectors, picking out wigs... Couldn't ask for more.

I, for one...absolutely loved Fantasia on American Idol ! I bought her first CD, and I hope for her and her child that VH1 can help her succeed. She did it all the correct way...by trying out for Idol, and she has been going strong ever since. Her autobiography story was great too. I love your style Fantasia...DON'T LET THE HATERS GET TO YA. Sang your heart out GF !!

I absolutey love Fantasia. She has been amazing since American Idol. It is absolutely impossible for her to fail. She is so honest and real. I love the fact that she has come from humble beginnings. Fantasia gives such hope to so many people. I'll always be a huge fan.

I love fantasia every sense she tried out for american idol and won it, she has been my idol and stilll is. the reason i say she is my idol cause, i sing and its a passion to me, god pratically gave me that gift and im going to use it to the glory of god. everybodys human, nobodys perfect. as long as she doesnt forget where she comes from and who blessed her to have such a talent, and not stray away. i went through similar things that she did and everytime i go through i wana quit singing but the moment i see her on tv or whereever it sparks back up in me not to quit singing. so fantasia i will be seeing you in september at the broadway. i am your biggest fan and i hope to meet you face to face. ALWAYS REMEBER, KEEP GOD 1ST.
