The Passion of the Marriage has died. Heh. That sucks. Woot!

Mel Gibson's wife Robyn has filed for divorce after 28 years of marriage. And can anyone guess why? Try real hard now... she cites "irreconcilable differences."

Mel does have a prenuptial agreement. BUT, his fortune is estimated to run at a whopping $900 million!! In other words, mama's gonna get herself a new bag! Even with an iron-tight prenup, you're still gonna lose millions to your ex when you have that much in your savings account.

California law also states that community property should be divided 50/50.

And who knew? Robyn has given birf to seven of Mel's children! She has requested spousal support. Great. And she's requested attorney fees. Good. She is also seeking joint physical and legal custody of their 10-year-old son, Tom.

Mel was seen with a mystery ho in Costa Rica on March 4.

This divorce is like winning the lottery.
