Twitter is absolute nonsense, but it is a great forum for celebrities to interact with their fans. And fans can be exposed to a stripped down, real "just like us" version of their favorite celebs via Tweets. Nicole Richie is new to Twitter, but she loves it and Twitter loves her. Her Tweets are pretty interesting, or at least they're interesting enough, which is a lot more than I can say for some celebrities.
