Adam Lambert is one confident singer who honestly doesn't really care. He plays by his own rules and he loves his fans and his hometown and everyone else can suck his armpit.

Adam commented on Clay Aiken's blog where he called Adam's Ring of Fire performance "Contrived, awful, and slightly frightening!" Adam told Access Hollywood,
"I don't know Clay. I'm glad he's getting headlines now though, because he wasn't before. If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him," Lambert said before giving Aiken a thumbs-up sign.
Boo. Hiss. Fingersnap!
Adam also basically said he doesn't give a shit that he lost American Idol cause AT&T are a bunch of homophobic cheaters.
Adam said, "There are plenty of standards and practices set up where they make sure that there's no, foul play. And I don't think it's a conspiracy. I think people are making a big deal out of nothing. A couple of employees handed out a couple of phones and showed people how to use them. I don't think that’s a conspiracy of any kind."
Adam's my fave Mr. Diplomatic.

Adam needs some coattails before they can be ridden.:-) He's fresh off the show, he needs to establish something outside of that bubble before he can say that, honestly. Aiken expressed his opinion, even if it came off rude to some, apologized, Adam got his digs in (rightfully so), twice now, I'd say it's even. Not everyone likes either one of their voices/talents, it's matter of taste. But to say someone who has remained in the field for six years, and like him or not, Aiken has remained so, needs his coattails is a bit 'falutin, ya know? Adam is good in his way but his doesn't have established coattails yet...best make sure they aren't Walmart quality before you think someone is hanging on them.:-)
I do like that he is complimentary of his fellow contestant and while I don't like his upper scream range, he does have a nice voice...I'd like to hear him do something without the scream. I imagine he will do both. I'll wait for that.
Peace!

Don't put words into his mouth. Saying in so many words that he thinks that AT&T are homophobic. He hasn't even CLEARLY admitted he is GAY!

PS...that would be a start

Er, it's my blog and I said that AT&T are a bunch of homophobic haters. A question including the phrase "homophobic haters" would never be directed toward Adam Lambert from Access Hollywood.
In case you didn't know, bloggers (well those who don't sit there and only compliment) are supposed to inject their personal opinions in their posts.
Adam also basically said he doesn't give a shit that he lost American Idol cause AT&T are a bunch of homophobic cheaters = sarcasm and my personal opinion. Of course Adam does 'give a shit' that he lost; I used my own choice of words to describe him being asked about how he felt about losing Idol.
I'M also the one who thinks that AT&T are homophobic cheaters.
RELAX.

Claymates like Jay crack me up. Who cares if he's been in the industry for 6 years? LOL, as if that constitutes longevity. He was just dropped by his record label. Besides, who does Clay think he is, anyway? I'm glad Adam put him in his place.Clay sounded like a jealous loser and his comments were uncalled for.

if all it took for dumbdam to lose was a few hundred power texts from a couple of promo ATT phones then he really didnt have a chance to win. perhaps if indeed he had the talent everyone wishes upon him his fan base would have voted him the winner... he lost, get over it, its not like people didnt vote for YOU by not voting for dumbdam...

I'm with you FC, there is something fishy and pretty blatantly rigged over fear of a homophobic backlash.

This just made my day! Clay Aiken sucks and yes, I am talking about more than the proverbial DICK! Who cares psycho clay fans. Adam is fresh and relevent now and they gayken can go and hide is ugly face in the sand:)! Take that. Sorry, he scares me and I DO NOT like him or his music.

I assume y'all are responding my comments.;-) I actually was being circumspect and you could really insert any other entertainer into the name...when Glambert has been known outside of his bubble for six years then he can talk coattails. It's my own opinion. It's like those people who make a good throw in a flag football game and now their freakin' Peyton Manning.:-) Didn't say he wasn't talented, nor that he wouldn't be around in six years, but I did say, at THIS point he has not proven a damned thing. That is a fact. Whatevs. I also said I'd wait to see what he puts out to decide if I want to buy it myself. No animosity there at all. Also think the original wordage that started it all was ill-advised, at Lambert certainly deserved to respond...but, imo, it's time to let it go and bring the focus back to just himself; if he's all that he can do that.
Alrighty then....

although well written jay, your homophobic agenda is blatantly apparent albeit in undertones, not admitting that dumbdam is the single most talented person like, ever must mean that your anti-gay.
