Neil Lambert: Adam Lambert Didn't Want to Exploit His Sexuality
Adam Lambert's brother Neil is making things easy for Adam. Adam doesn't have to come out of the closet, his brother did it for him. Neil Lambert has been posting his opinions on all things Idol for a while now, and he had this to say about Adam's sexuality and Danny F*cking KareGokey!
“What pisses me off is that people think he’s not talking about it because he’s scared of what’ll happen. Look at the loving TV and tell me he’s scared of weirding people out. Yeah right.
The truth is, American Idol shouldn’t be about the contestants’ silly personal stories. Had Danny Gokey not gone the Pity Party route, he would’ve been out sooner because he’s just not that exciting of a singer.
I don’t want to see Adam on-screen whimpering about how hard it is to be a gay man in America because it doesn’t have to do with his singing. Adam didn’t want to fuse a sob story into his Idol persona. He wants to sing and entertain, not make people vote for him out of sympathy.”
I couldn't agree more!

I'd have to agree...Danny's singing talent is nothing more than average. His entertainment value is null and void...If you looking to fall asleep just tune into a Danny Gokey performance...If you are looking to be at the edg eof your seat and entertained to the fullest....Tune into Adam Lambert!!
Oh and let's not forget the talented negativeneil!!! Love his blogs!!

Danny Gokey is a great singer--way better than Adam and Kris. Bottom line. He didn't go the pity route, he was simply answering questions. Everyone kept pressuring him to talk about it. Trust me, him and I are actually close friends. So before you go off running your mouth, know what you're talking about first.

Why don't they leave Adam alone! He is an amazing entertainer with incomprable talent. Kudos to his parents for raising him with scruples and morals. He is not only talented, he is kind, handsome and very sexy. He knows when to speak and when not to speak. He is very well posed, never nervous, an impeccable dresser, he has a beautifiul attitude to go with his beautiful eyes and smile. He is handling his sexuality just awesome. I don't know where Adam has been up until now, but I am so happy he surfaced. I would have loved to have a son like Adam. I simple adore him. All good things for you Adam, there is no doubt what so ever that you will go very far!

Adam is a true real person. He does what he does, and makes no apologies. If only we could find that in every person we run into.
Good luck to him, in any of his endeavors, and congratulations to him and his handsome boyfriend. They make a good couple.

Neil Lambert's "negative neil blog" is such a good write! Mr. and Mrs. Lambert have raised 2 beautiful human beings in America. You should all be happy for that. For that is what I feel when I searched them out (in the site),read Neil, listen to Adam and look at them. I keep on laughing reading Neil's blog. Good writes. My congratulations to the Lamberts for raising 2 fine gentlemen, 2 good human beings. In a world full now of doubts and suspicioun and clouded with global diminished, the Lambert's have raised good people. American Idol this year have very fine gentlemen as American Idol, none the better choice. Congratulations!

I have to disagree with Jorhe in that these would have to be the best finalists ever for AI. Although I think Allison should have been with Adam instead of Kris. I just feel she was a better performer, though I do like Kris. I see nothing wrong with Kris hugging Adam. I don't understand why someone would even have to comment on such a thing. What is wrong with the world today?

Screaming Adam's gay? What a dunce.
And this "southerner" Kris is hugging him like his boyfriend?
YUCK.
WORST AMERICAN IDOL FINALISTS EVER.
Simon Cowell resign!

I think Adam is a fabulous performer and singer. His sexual preference doesn't matter and should never have been brought up by anyone, much less his brother!! I think his brother could have possibly hurt Adam. He was doing a great job on his own. Adam is fantastic and he should have won based on his talent alone. Kris is good too but Adam should have won hands down, gay or not.

TheOnlyMercutio,
I don't think Adam is skirting the issue. I think he is just living his life the way he chooses to live it. He didn't sign up to be the poster child for Gay America. He signed up to be a singer and an entertainer and be recognised for his talent. It is really unfair for people like Perez Hilton for example, who is being REALLY hard on Adam at the moment about this, to demand that Adam sing from the roof tops about his sexual preference. I mean damn, can the man get his career started first?
