Alberto Cutie Leaves Catholic Church for Girlfriend Ruhama Buni Canellis
Father Alberto Cutie's decision was a difficult one, but his options were simple. Alberto Cutie had to choose to dump his girlfriend Ruhama Buni Canellis or remain with the Roman Catholic Church.
The prominent Latin priest chose his lady friend and has joined the Episcopal Church instead.
Father Oprah gave a press conference on Thursday where he announced the news. The Episcopal bishop, a half-dozen Episcopal priests and his girlfriend Ruhama Buni Canellis were all standing behind him. During the conference, Alberto didn't mention his scandalous relationship or his future with his ho.
He did say in a statement that he "began to have spiritual and deep ideological struggles" and "has seen the ways that many of my brothers serve God as married men, with the blessing of forming a family."
Cutie was removed from his Miami Beach Catholic church after photos of him smooching and embracing a woman appeared in the pages of a Spanish-language magazine earlier this month. With his leading man good looks, appearances in local newspapers' social pages and as the host of a TV show, Cutie is one of South Florida's most recognizable characters.
Alberto is scheduled to deliver a sermon at his new church this Sunday. The Episcopal Church allows its priests to engage in grown folk's business while the Catholic Church requires them to be celibate.

Dama y caballero, tomanse su tiempo y reflexionen de lo que les voy a decir. Primero, borren la mentalidad e ideas del hombre moderno. Tenemos mas conocimientos nosotros ahora, que los hombres de siglos pasados. Hay que ubicarse en el tiempo. Ahora les pregunto, cual de los dos hombres puede ser mas efectivo en un trabajo pastoral de una Iglesia, el hombre casado o el hombre soltero ????. Cual de los dos dara el 100 % y tendra mas libertad de movimiento, de pensar, menos preocupacion economica, podra mantener los secretos de confesion, de consejeria.....etc. El casado tendra su corazon dividido entre su esposa, hijos y la comunidad cristiana que le asignen. Tendra mas presion familiar y darle mas atencion a su esposa e hijos, y menos tiempo para preocuparse y atender las necesidades de los parroquianos. El cristianismo se expandio y entro en el Continente Americano, por los hombres solteros, sacerdotes franciscanos, dominicos, jesuitas y otras denominaciones religiosas, incluyendo a las mujeres religiosas que tambien hacen votos de castidad(virginidad por el Reino). Venian solos(as), en travesias por mar de muchos meses y peligros, y sin saber si volverian a Europa. Dejaron atras a padres, madres, hermanos(as), amigos y comodidades de su epoca para llegar a selvas infectadas de todo insectos, enfermedades y asustados de los nativos que se encontraron en tierras lejanas que ni sabian que existian. Tu crees que los obispos y el Papa iban a enviar hombres casados con su familia a las misiones apostolicas????? en siglos anteriores que no son las de hoy. La vida era pesima y no habia garantia de regreso. Esos hombres y mujeres celibes lo hicieron por AMOR A CRISTO, A SU IGLESIA, AL REINO DE DIOS ENTRE LOS HOMBRES. Imaginate la esposa de un sacerdote celosa, chismosa, dominadora, que se lo merece todo, hay que complacerla en todo. Hijos malcriados, la economia mundial que esta cara, no alcanza el dinero para los alimentos. Los gastos de autos, seguros para los autos, seguros medicos, ropas para los ninos que crecen por dia. El costo de educacion de los hijos.....etc. No les alcanza el $$$$$$$$ y su salario pastoral no es suficiente, no les pagan mucho. Crees que ellos, los sacerdotes no catolicos tendran mas tiempo para atender como es debido a los enfermos en los hospitales, a las llamadas de emergencia de moribundos, las citas para consejeria espiritual de la feligresia. Oir confesiones.....etc. Para eso, sus esposas e hijos tendran que ceder y darle mas tiempo a sus esposos y padres sacerdotes. Los pastores protestantes y sacerdotes de denominaciones no catolicas, no dicen, ni publican sus problemas matrimoniales. Sus peleas de esposos, pegaderas de tarros(infidelidades), celos, mal camino de sus hijos en la droga o el alcohol. Hijas que le llegan a la casa embarazadas, divorcios, separaciones, dormir en camas separadas y cuartos aparte.....etc. Ellos no pueden ser distintos a los matrimonios no sacerdotales de hoy dia. Hay un dicho del hombre soltero o la mujer soltera, " Es mejor estar solo, que mal acompanado ". Al Sr, Alberto Cutie lo que le interesa es "EL CASH", en buscarse unos cuantos miles y millones de dolares para asegurar la economia de su familia de por vida y LAVARSE EL ROSTRO LOS DOS. Echarle tierra arriba al escandalo sexual de una mujer comprometida con otro hombre, en donde hay pecado de adulterio por medio. Todavia hay preguntas sin respuestas queridos amigos y que ellos no han querido tocar y aclarar. Personas envueltas en el escandalo de Miami Beach que estan perdidos, sus bocas cerradas. Esos que no han escrito libros y puesto a la venta. DONDE ESTAN ELLOS..?????. Nada de eso APARECERA EN EL LIBRO QUE HOY EL SR. ALBERTO CUTIE VA A FIRMAR Y PONDRA A LA VENTA EN EL MERCADO. Ahi estaran los tontos regalando los veinte y pico de dolares+Tax valor del libro. Tontos para sacarse fotos con el, para decir le cosas bonitas al oido.....etc. Tontos que van a leer lo mismo que el ha dicho hasta ahora en la radio, television y periodico. JUSTIFICAR, LO QUE NO TIENE JUSTIFICACION.

The Bible says that it is not good for man to live alone. From a pure evolutionary perspective though, we are social beings. He like most people was doing what was natural to him and he gravitated to that. It is pure biology to do the durty gurdy. Our bodies were designed not only to communicate with each other, but to engage in sex, and not just to procreate, to release all the AHHH! we have in our lives whether you are hetero, homo, asexual (it happens and I wanna know how y’all get down with or without yourself). There has to be a release, and you can’t tell me the euphoria of the ooooo la la orgasm can be reached by singing hymns and burning incense all day, but this is only my narrow minded view, shame on me because you can look at Buddhist monks and they appear to be liberated from the urge to pump and bump. Maybe that is true enlightenment, who knows.
Who made up the rule that a hardcore grrrr! religious person is “pure” and that purity = celibacy? I never understood that. Why deny the desires of the heart and the loins. Unzip the heart and the pants. The heart was designed to be worn on the sleeve and your buttermint, well… it needs to be someone’s mouth already.

I think the Catholic church's oppressive ideas on sex and spirituality probably led to, if not exacerbated the effed up and repressed sexuality of its priests.
Had those men been able to use their God-given, natural sexuality, they would not have to resort to perversion. I'm not making excuses, because they were wrong, each one of them. And they all should have been punished....
but if Catholicism would allow priests to marry, then the pedophiles would stick out like sore thumbs and not be able to blend in or hide behind the church.
