American Idol Was Rigged!!! Kris Allen Won With the Help of Special AT&T Phones

Well ain't this some sh*t! The New York Times has uncovered some truf, yo, dude, dawg! This is hawt, yo! According to the Times, AT&T, American Idol's biggest corporate sponsor, helped Kris Allen to rob the title from Adam Lambert.

AT&t gave phones for free text-messaging services to TWO Kris Allen parties in Arkansas on the night of the finals! The AT&T reps also showed party-goers how to "power text" -- cast 10 votes at the touch of a button - which violates show rules!!!

Adam Lambert tailored suit

Power texts, according to the Times, "have an exponentially greater effect on voting than do single text messages or calls to the shows toll-free phone lines."

No similar efforts appear to have been made to provide free texting services to Adam Lambert fans. Angry Lambert supporters are now claiming in online chat boards that the competition's voting was rigged.

While Fox has yet to comment,

AT&T issued the following statement: "In Arkansas, we were invited to attend the local watch parties organized by the community. A few local employees brought a small number of demo phones with them and provided texting tutorials to those who were interested."

I guess AT&T reps are a bunch of homophobic dickheads. F*ck this shit! Now you can't tell me Adam Lambert's sexuality had nothing to do with Kris Allen fans getting these special power text phones while Adam's fans received none!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I demand a re-vote and Idol needs to do something about voting for next year cause fans of the show will not tolerate this bullshit. At least I won't. This just proves that Adam will outsell Kris Allen by the hundreds of thousands, if not millions!

All I want to say is, yes it was rigged because fox is a conserative network and having a Gay win idol, repulsed them. But Adam doesnt need the title because he has more than a title. He has us, his fans which are way more devoted to him than anyone else. He knows he should had won and so do we all, but he doesnt have to have the Idol contract of 6 years and give idol like 12% of his incomings. He is better off and I have excepted that fact now. Adam Rocks my Mad World! Always has and Always Will

i am not a die hard idol fan...because my music , while includes alot,is not really pop. i like the rock and adam brought it home this year. i LOVED adam doing zepplin. .do you think kiss or queen would be on there if not for adam??? even having Slash for a mentor?? never would have happened except for the lovely and talented adam lambert..he is so hot . and for winning.... he didn't have to . he was already going to make it . evident early on. he is better off to do his own thing. like daughtry.

Yes, I totally agree that the voteing was rigged. I work in a hospital of about 1,000 personal, and we all had a voting competition on who was going to win the most votes and adam was our guy. Adam you are going to sell the most music over Kris any day, keep up the good work adam can't wait for your first c.d. to come out.We all love you adam .

"Now you can't tell me Adam Lambert's sexuality had nothing to do with Kris Allen fans getting these special power text phones while Adam's fans received none"... your kidding right? you simply have to be kidding... no one could invest THIS much effort into pushing your anti-homophobia agenda... if indeed dumdam lambert had a shred of the talent you so blindly assume he has just because hes gay perhaps he would have gathered the support needed to overcome a party of power texters somewhere in the hills of the south... his cock chugging preference still has less to do with his loss and more to do with your need to explain why he lost when you were convinced he had it in the bag.

WTF??! Who knew that Idol and AT&T were such bedfellows, but this definitely taints my viewing pleasure of American Idol. The judges had faux emotions when Kris was crowned Idol champion if they were indeed in on this, too.

Could this be the reason why the show didn't release the percentage points of whomever voted for Kris and Adam during last week's finale?
