George O'Malley is Dead, T.R. Knight Officially Written Off Grey's Anatomy
In December T.R. Knight said that he wanted to be written off of Grey's Anatomy because he wasn't happy with his character's lack of storyline and camera face time.
Tensions between the 36-year-old diva man child and Grey's creator Shonda Rhimes have been "unbearable" for both.
E! news reports that Dr. George O'Malley is officially dead. T.R. Knight won't be returning to Grey's next season, which isn't much of a shock. Dr. George O'Malley flatlined during one of the final scenes of the season finale.
There's no word on any upcoming projects for Knight, who began his career on Broadway.

I hate it that George is off the show., and Izzie too. I do not like the new season , too many of the regular characters are leaving. I am not watching anymore.

LMAO, S-Dawg. Grey's jumped the shark when they let Isaiah go and I honestly don't think Shonda knows WTF she's doing half the time. I wouldn't be surprised if Isaiah Washington did come back.
