Katy Perry's Adam Lambert Cape Upsets Fans
Katy Perry let everyone know what Idol she's supporting by beginning her "Waking Up in Vegas" performance by holding up her Adam Lambert cape. Kris Allen and Danny Gokey fans are upset about it and claiming that Katy was using favoritism and giving unfair advertising to the Lambert.
What these fans are failing to realize is that judges Kara and Simon have publicly predicted a Danny vs. Adam finale showdown. The judges are being bias. Producers are being biased - making Adam the final singer episode after episode and giving him the longest hometown segment of all the contestants last night.
And if American Idol isn't endorsing Adam Lambert, mainstream national publication Entertainment Weekly is. Adam graced Entertainment Weekly's cover last week, which makes me suspicious. Shouldn't Idol producers forbid that kind of blatant promotion?!
If anything, Katy was doing Kris a favor, cause it's much more embarrassing to "win" American Idol but "lose" in sales and longevity. Kris Allen will be another Taylor Hicks. Kris is a small and quiet married dude from Arkansas with a really nice personality. Sex appeal isn't exactly oozing outta his pores. Adam wears guyliner, gyrates like he's itchy, and looks like an artist already; plus he has the vocals to back up his flamboyant look.
I wouldn't be surprised if American Idol gave Katy the damn cape themselves.

did u notice how Simon STAYED SEATED when Kris' name was annoucned?! first Idol winner to never be stood for by Simon! The best, smartest judge (and I've thought this since day 1 not just because of what he did to Kris) in the show didn't even stand because he knew this season was such a let down. Just goes to prove that Kris didn't deserve that win

I just hate all this drag queen/homosexual stuff with Adam. It makes me want to cry that people are judging him based on sexual orientation and not talent. He is clearly the better talent which is easy to see in any of the songs he did. Like Joseph said, if Kris tried Adam's songs, my ears would bleed like the night Danny sang "Dream On" (and i LOVE Danny Gokey and have since day one!!)
Adam clearly has more talent but people in this world still judge people based on how they were born! Sad thing that people who are like that will go on to teach their kids the same beliefs and the cycle will never end.
Adam you are a winner! I love you as do all of your fans who know your ability and talent. I hope when you finally do come out after "Idol," it will be in a world with the FIRST homosexual American Idol! I hope this world changes and all people are treated equally with equal rights. It's just not fair!

Why Adam Lambert wins American Idol 2009:
*Great talent,unique, special, excellent
*This great talent wins either audience and the jury or Kety perry(other artist (Slash etc)who were invited to train are also amazed by Adam Lambert)(and not to mention those out there)
*Somebody like Adam Lambert should win in a great show like American Idol. A talent like Kris Allen is everywhere,good but not special. (He even reminds me of Westlife member).

I admit that Kris's heartless is creative. However, if you listen carefully...it's pitchy + vocal is poor & weak. "He can play instruments" ? ... haha, lousy skills....There're so many times he's almost voted off and nowaday he became a dark horse? give me a break ....

Adam gets the biased from the judges because he's ten times more talented than Kris...listen to his range and watch his performance ability and it's easy to see why he is better! I find myself bored watching Kris and forget his performance quickly after. Adam is always memorable because he makes sure that you hear him, which is what a live singer should do!
