I dunno whether I think Cameron Diaz deserves a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame or not.
Cameron hasn't been around for that long and it's not like her acting is Oscar worthy. She should receive a star for being a curveless fug chick who manages to land all the hot guys, but not for her acting career. Then I remembered that the Olsen twins received their own stars, in which case Cameron Diaz totally deserves it. A Walk of Fame star is an honor, but not always well earned. And btw, Tom Cruise and a homely looking Katie Holmes showed up too.
Cammy Fug wore a cute little white dress that reminds me of everything I would wear when going to church when I was a little girl. She looks cute!

Ryan Seacrest just about proved a few years ago that anyone can get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, so it doesn't surprise me that Cameron Diaz received one at all. The timing is suspect too because she has a movie, "My Sister's Keeper," that is set to be released in theatres this week.
But the misnomer about celebrities receiving stars on the Walk of Fame (and that their publicists won't reveal to the general public) is that they pay a $20,00 star placement fee and are placed on a long list with other applicants afterwards. In my mind, that detracts from the "paying their dues" and authenticity aspects of the process.
So, just ask yourselves, is this entire process really true to form? My answer is not completely at all..

I know celebs have to pay $20K and there's a list and ish. I learned that from Andy Dick's mtv intern show. That show would have me and my dad laughing so freaking hard!
I still think Ryan Gaycrest deserves a star more than the Olsens, but they all suck! :)

You're right, Fiya, Gaycrest currently has 2,465 jobs in Hollywood and has been around longer with more accomplishments than the Olsen twins. Their main claim to fame in Hollywood has been kissing Bob Saget on the cheek in Full House, right?
And how did you learn anything from watching a Andy Dick show? Isn't that like learning how to read from a fourth grader?! :)
