Many people can't figure out whether or not Eminem actually walked out of the MTV Awards as part of a routine, or because he was upset. Maybe it's both? The last thing that Eminem would want is another man's booty crack all up in his face.
Eminem doesn't seem down to earth enough to approve of something like that, plus he's a homophobe, or if he did approve, I don't think he'd want Bruno's butt to be that close to his nostrils. So I personally think that this could have been staged, but it became real because Marshall Mathers is a basket case who can't take a joke and he's emotionally driven in almost everything that he does. He would so walk out of an award show over something like this.
Anywho, I have to leave right now for a doctor's appointment. I'll be updating hours from now when I get back. Hearts.

I totally think that he knew about it. First, if he didn't and some dude's balls and ass were in his face he would have flipped way more than he did. Also, his bodyguards didn't really do anything. They would have had to practice that shit too. It was totally staged, funny as all hell but staged.

I have been conflicted about this Eminem-Bruno incident since last night. On one hand, part of the appeal of Sacha Bara Cohen for years has been about pulling surprises on the unexpected - with real negative consequences. It has helped built Cohen into an enormous worldwide celebrity and he has been a kingpin in building hype, as well. However, I can also not imagine that Em would want to be tea tagged any day of the week either.
Okay, okay, to break this confliction of mine as I'm tying right now, I think it was a staged incident based on how fast the MTV cameras were on scene and the slow reaction times of Em's bodyguards. Would MTV want to unfairly treat one of its prized guests? Nope.

Update: According to Paris Hilton on the View this morning (yes, I just happened to watch this, haha) she attended the MTV Awards last night and said she spoke to a friend who indicated a surprise from Cohen would take place but the guest wouldn't have any idea of it at all.

It was staged. Eminem was miked up and the camera went to him (already putting an "angry face") before it was clear Sacha was going to land on him. He uses gay slurs to insult people in his music like a lot of rappers, but Eminem has always been one of the goofiest rappers in terms of doing things for a laugh. Maybe he didn't know EXACTLY what was going to happen, but he'd agreed to be part of a surprise stunt.

This was real. The Eminem people wanted to post it as fake or staged coz it doesn't look good for Eminem. Eminem is too self-absorbed that's why he stormed out after the joke. Right back at him anyway!! Look at his videos to speak of!!
