Kris Allen dresses like he shops at Wal-mart. The man NEEDS a stylist. WTFug is he wearing? Second, the man has no range. He's so boring. Kris Allen, good luck with that lengthy career of yours. You will need it.

Whoever posted this article is an idiot. The shirt is fine.. his music is understated like his personality because that's who he is. People like him for this and is why he won the show. His pitch is insanely great and his range is just fine. Not everyone has the range of Adam Lambert, but at least people believe what Kris says when he speaks or sings. Its not an act for him. If you don't like him, fine- but that performance of our Anthem was just fine.

Heard both versions, Adams and Chris'. Chris can sing it much better than I could. But also agree with most, Adam actually made the song "memorable" as Simon would say. Just beautiful. Should be singing it more. Underwood is hot, but would love to have had Adam sing at the SupperBowl", imagain how that would ignite his sales, he needs a better manager.

Wow, that sucked!! What were they thinking in getting him to sing the anthem. That kid has no range. I fall asleep when I listen to him. He's a good tranquilizer. He is an example of why I hate that show American Idol. That is exactly the kind of crap talent that ends up winning the show.

i like his rendition. it may not be the best, but i believe he sang it very well.

Admit it. You just always love, love, love my use of numbers. Don't I know it?! :) But yeah, you know I'm always in article-writing mode but more informal on POTP than some other entities. It's a habit I've been trying to shake off lately. :)
And, oh duh, Adam does live in San Diego as highlighted ad nauseum this past this season. That's more of a reason he should have been recruited to sing the National Anthem, right?

Kris' performance of the National Anthem was not interesting when I watched it live yesterday and my mind hasn't changed today about it today either. Someone should have advised him that he accompany his rendition with a guitar to enliven his performance - a tool that he's had much success with on AI.
Whether anyone is a fan of Adam or not, most agree he would have probably put on a better performance. The NBA and the Lakers should have recruited Adam to sing it as he only lives about 130 miles away from Staples Center in San Diego!
