MTV Awards Writer Says Eminem and Bruno Fight Was Staged
MTV Awards writer Scott Aukerman addressed rumors about the Bruno booty cheek stunt involving Eminem walking out.
Scott said,
"Yes, the Eminem-Bruno incident was staged. They rehearsed it at dress [rehearsal] and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show."
Awards show attendee Taraji P. Henson. told USA Today,
"That was staged! Do you really think it wasn't? They would not put a man's naked [butt] in Eminem's face and not let him know. Come on! They're not stupid."
The show attracted 5.3 million viewers -- the largest audience since the 2004 MTV Movie Awards.
The stunt kept people guessing, which is great. Well done.

My original gut feelings were that this entire Eminem-Bruno incident was staged, yet it is still hilarious how some people's first- and second-hand accounts (per my comment on this yesterday) were different than the facts!
