Rubina Ali's Memoir, Slumdog Dreaming

Nine year-old Slumdog Millionaire star Rubina Ali is "writing" her memoir.

Rubina is the girl whose father allegedly tried to sell her. She also lives in the slums of India. This child is getting her hustle on early! Slumdog Dreaming will be released on July 16. The book will detail the night of the Oscars and her rapid transition into fame.

The press release mentions the following:

"Rubina brings alive a world of wastelands and rat-infested shanty dwellings, and shows us her home, a wooden shack with a tarpaulin roof, where she grew up with her beloved father and siblings," says the statement.

I can turn on Jerry Springer or talk to any hooker on the street and find out more about rat-infested environments and shacks without spending any stacks. I don't even want this book to do well cause I fear the children of Slumdog have been exploited enough and a penny of revenue may not even go to Rubina? :(
